No sh%$...honestly questioning how I've been competitive in spurts this year with that kind of a disadvantage/lack of ability lol.
Really interesting stats. I'd also love to see all the strokes gained metrics, those would be the most telling, but understand they may be too complex for our overlords to code, assuming the requisite data is made available by HB. Probably too difficult to code but I reckon it'll be pretty clear that putting holds a premium on scoring. Very few among that list of dart-throwers are truly big names when it comes to scoring. Hippy, Crawesy, Mitch and Dave nowhere to be seen, my assumption would be, as in your case, that their putting stats are on another level compared to the dart throwers. Hippy's putting stats gotta be unconcious. He was at 31 ft proximity, and yet had one of the highest birdie conversion stats.

I think that stat is broke. Besides reaching Par 5 in two can really throw off the stat when you have 60ft putts There is no way Brad averages 28ft. Lol No, but I would assume its broken in the same way for all. There were many other familiar names ahead of him on the list.

How should the stat be calculated? Is it only for GIR? Or should it be broken down per par?

Hey GW, I tried your tip of letting go of the stick as soon as I hit the plastic. What do you think of these swing lines? It actually felt more rhythmic swinging this way. No fishtails really. I just worry about being too straight. The flick gives me more deviation I think. I suggest you play a euro round and ask Doyley to check it out. Probably OK if it’s a legit swing, I believe the API is more sensitive than what you can see. But yeah letting go makes a difference. Good luck!

I took the new nonflick let go swing to the course and the lines were nowhere near as laser straight as on the driving range. But I do still get more deviation with the flick for some reason. Oh, I'm not going to bug Doyley and crew again. I really put them through the ringer last go round.

Costner’s swing in Tin Cup is better than Faxons, pretty sure he was a dirty flicker...

I’ve had a couple of rounds lately with very few off tempo swings, apart from chips, pitches and flops which I’m still working on. I think maybe we’re just all Gumps on XB lol.
