With the Masters qualifying at Magnolia coming up I have a suggestion. I think that the qualifiers should only be taken from people using Masters clubs. Pro clubs players can still carry on and earn promotion marks etc in the same way as always, I'm just talking about the actual players who qualify for the Masters.
Look at the CCA leaderboard this week, currently 34 of the top 36 using Pro clubs. There is literally no incentive beyond enjoyment to use Masters, this is a chance to actually give some.
Just my thoughts, I won't be throwing my toys out if it doesn't happen. To be fair I'm too busy retrieving my golf clubs from the lakes of Falcon's Landing!

This weeks first round for CC-D: 86% of the top 29 scores(all but 4) are using pro clubs. 80% of the top 45 scores(all but 9) are using pro clubs

That was me with my putter this week, "Why do I always get the warped one?"

So I am thinking more and more that since they made a separate "Tour" for beginners clubs they need to make a separate "Tour" for both Masters clubs and Pro clubs. Some one in CC-D is -31 already!

Totally agree with BOTH suggestions!
Probably because I'm struggling to make masters work for me! (But sticking with it!) I like the challenge, and it feels like "real golf" to me...
It's the putting! It's just not fair, in comparison...
I really like the separate tours idea. I know pro guys will go nuts and it will cause uproar, but surely the logic is totally sound??

There was an uproar when they split off the beginners clubs for their own tour...... I think they can do it. And it would be great!

Don't see this changing for Season 5 but definitely under consideration for next season assuming it's still the same for the next game (assuming there is a next game).

I disagree. Masters Qualifying is a regular CC Event so it needs to follow the regular rules for CC (i.e. Pro and Master clubs treated equally).
Once we get into "Masters is more like real golf" then we are getting close to "the right way to play".
As always, CC is Pro-Clubs-recommended-but-Master-Clubs-allowed.
I don't think it would be wise to compel Pro Club users to use Master clubs during a regular event that counts for demotions and promotions. I think that's what we would be doing if we made qualifiers only come from Master Club users.

accept your other points though...

I agree with the OP here.
Be realistic guys... The people who will end up qualifying for the Masters are likely going to be Pro club users. They will play The Masters tournament with Master clubs and will find themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard because they are not accustomed to competing with master clubs and their shots will be ALL over the place. That is pretty lame IMO.
I'm disappointed with the CC tours as there has not been anything done to provide an incentive to use the master club set. Don't get me wrong I am fine with players being able to choose which set they want to play with, but would a tiny incentive for players to choose the higher difficulty level be so much to ask for?

Selfishly I would love to see this as I'm a die-hard CC-B-er (who had been at the Euro level in other iterations of the game) who firmly clutches my Masters club set. I've never used Pro, and I'm worried that if I did I wouldn't be able to readjust to Masters clubs in time to make a promotion to a pro tour stick.
But I do think major tournament qualifications should use the same rules that the major tournaments themselves would.
