Here's my next project and having released my ported links course Angus Bay International only yesterday, I started this morning on my next project. And it's as far away from a links course as you can get... With the speed I design at, expect it in about 2-3 months.

I'm designing the course in the Summer. You wouldn't want to go down Le Mur Suisse in the snow with golf clubs!

I've put down the layout of the course and without even intending to, I've already managed to put some quirks in there. The first five holes are par 4s. The next five holes don't have a single par 4. Despite the course having four par 5s, the longest hole is a par 4. Added: I'm very enthusiastic about designing this course. I have used the generated terrain very well in my own opinion when laying out the holes and I have a lot of ideas for my holes. Prepare for some things you don't normally see when the course gets released.

At that is laid down at the moment are tee boxes and holes (both in heavy rough) and the hole routing blocked by many trees. If you want a go, I can publish you a beta.

RIP Winter Theme. You are missed. I didn't even know it was gone. Speaking of, there needs to be a proper rain function. Light, Med, Heavy...Intermittent, Steady, Hurricane....Course changes accordingly. Slow dry, med dry, fast dry time periods. But nobody would ever use it since it would prevent setting the sun at a 10% inclination.

Just to tease Cat some more... I have laid down the fairway, green and tees on the 1st and cleared some obstructing trees. Still go to do the bunkers and sculpting round the hole and I have my first.

ohheycat because he's impatient and @everybodyelse who is interested... Frustrating last session of designing. I had already laid down the tees, fairway and green on the first and I have a large chasm to cross between the first tee and fairway. Every bridge I tried to build across it look totally wank as it ended up being suspended in mid air. The only one that looked relatively normal aesthetically nobody would ever walk across because it would be so structually unsafe not even Bear Grylls or other such adventurers would dare to cross it. I ended up turned the chasm into a glacial lake with a dam at one end to stop the lake from flooding the valley below. Just about finished it when I had to turn off. So I still have even put down a bunker on the first or done any planting. This one really will be a slow burner, but I'm excited about it, especially the opening two holes and closing two holes.

I also have the problem of how to get golfers up and down Le Mur Suisse/The Swiss Wall as there are no cable cars/gondolas in the game.

Here's the first, with some planting still to be done.
