Jamie Gale VBrandon Gimbel So with the contest won the single matches became more about personal pride. Jamie started with taking the 1st hole with a birdie and stayed at 1 up through 3. He then won the next 3 to move 4 up, then on the 7th Brandon pulled one back before slipping back again on 8. The next 5 holes were halved then Jamie won the 13th and 14th to extend his lead. By then the match was won, the only other hole won was the 17th where Brandon birdied to claim the hole. Jamie Gale Wins 5&4 against Brandon Gimbel
CC-B 10 CC-C 3 Ouch...that is an ass kicking. Not shocked i have really struggled on this course. Good shooting Cuber

Pat O'Dell VMark Ross The next match was an all Scottish affair, Pat started off with 2 birdies to go 2 holes up. The next 4 holes were evenly fought with no one making any impact, before Mark birdied the 7th and Pat's bogey on 8 made it all square again. It was a tight match through 9-11 as either player couldn't be separated but Mark's birdie on 12 put him 1 up. Then holes were traded on 13 and 14 to keep CC-B in the lead. The 15th was halved then Pat won 16 to bring him level, both players birdied the last two holes to bring this tense match to a close at all square. Pat O'Dell and Mark Ross Finish All Square
CC-B 10.5 CC-C 3.5 Epic match Pat.Thanks for all the reports. It’s been a brilliant tournament and well done the bears.

Scott Stearns VJustin Inwood Scott had a bright start by going 2 up within the first two holes, then the 3rd was halved before Scott went 3 up on the 4th. Justin pinned him back to 2 up on 5 but Scott went on a run of 3 birdies to go 5 up after 8. Justin's bogey on the 9th gave Scott a bigger lead before matching him on 10 and 11. Scott wrapped up the match on 12 with a birdie then they traded 4 of the last 5 holes as they alternately shot birdies to finish the round. Scott Stearns Wins 7&6 against Justin Inwood

Thanks for taking part, I'm just hoping the Ryder Cup contest can be a bit tighter than this one. I was looking forward to a match against a fellow Scot adds a bit of spice to it.

Simon Morris VKevin Dudley The final pairings of our match up delivered an enthralling match to bring the contest to a close. On the first both players birdied to half the hole. On the 2nd hole Kevin took the hole with an eagle then quickly doubled his lead with a birdie on 3. The 4th was halved then Kevin extended his lead with another eagle on 5 to go 3 holes up. Simon stopped the bleeding as he matched Kevin's birdie on the 6th, before responding with an eagle of his own on the 7th. Both players shared the 8th then Kevin took his 3 hole lead back with a birdie on 9. A share of birdies on 10 and 11 seen no change in the scores, then Simon narrowed Kevin's lead with a birdie on 12. With the 13th drawn, Simon took his chances on the 14th and 15th to bring him back into the match. Then he took the lead for the first time on 16 with a birdie then was cursing "the half pipe green" on 17 as he bogied to lose his lead. Like his football team Manchester City did 7 years ago he dug deep and produced another birdie to clinch the match in dramatic fashion. Simon Morris Wins 1 Up against Kevin Dudley CC-B 12.5CC-C 5.5So with that the first of our inter flight clashes in CC-Pro ends with the dominant CC-B guys emerging victorious. There was plenty of drama and great golf played and the preparation and team selection paid off for CC-B as CC-C's inconsistent form continues.
The next time these guys are scheduled to meet up teammates will be rivals and rivals become teammates in our CC-Pro Ryder Cup competition. Until then keep the drives straight and your balls dry and above all have fun.

You both shot great rounds, I will be interested to see if you play against each other in the Ryder Cup competition and provide another pulsating encounter.
