lesson learned... don't try to hunt bears with golf clubs. The bear will win. Ill be honest - I'm convinced this rivalry competition vastly improved our games. Apparently the Bears need to be motivated through conflict.

I noticed improvement in my own game until this week when I started streaming my rounds... then I seemed to take a few steps back lol it has been fun though!

I have learned a lot about what I can do if I slow down and focus. Plus, it's not over! I believe with Sam's scores coming in today you guys just took Match 10.

Simon Morris & Pat O'Dell VKevin Dudley & Mark Ross So with CC-B just needing to take anything from this match to win the contest, it was set up as a vital match. CC-C weren't waiting around and birdies for both players in the first two holes put them 2 up. Simon's birdie on the 3rd stopped the CC-B guys from pulling them back in and Mark done the same on hole 4. Simon and Pat then took turns on 5 & 6 to score birdie and put them 4 up. Both the 7th and 8th halved we had to wait til the 9th until Simon holed a birdie to put CC-C further ahead. The 10th was halved thanks to birdies from Pat and Mark, as was the 11th and 12th. Pat's birdie on 13 clinched the match for CC-C and he scored an eagle on the 14th to keep his scoring run going. The halved 16th was sandwiched between two holes won by Simon then Pat. All players birdied the last as the CC-C guys made CC-B wait a bit longer for their match up win. Simon Morris & Pat O'Dell Win 6&5 against Mark Ross & Kevin Dudley

OUCH! We got beat on this one! And this pair had the guy who just got promoted to CC-A Mark has done great getting up to CC-A but to be honest I don't think flights count for much just now. I've checked a few of the Ryder Cup participants in CC-D and there's 4 of them 20-25 under after 2 rounds. I'm kinda glad I'm running it and not taking part.

Justin Ciboch & Scott Stearns V Justin Inwood & Brandon Gimbel The match started with Inwood claiming the first hole with a birdie, then on 2 both of the CC-C guys birdied to make it even again. The next 2 holes were halved, then Scott gave CC-C the lead on 5 before holes 6 and 7 were shared. Then birdies by Brandon on the next two gave CC-B the lead. It stayed like that for the 10th & 11th before Inwood won the 12th to put them 2 up. The next 4 holes were halved and 17 became a must win for CC-C but the pair of pars weren't enough as Brandon holed a birdie to win the match and the contest. Justin Inwood & Brandon Gimbel Win 3&1 against Justin Ciboch & Scott Stearns

Jamie Gale VBrandon Gimbel So with the contest won the single matches became more about personal pride. Jamie started with taking the 1st hole with a birdie and stayed at 1 up through 3. He then won the next 3 to move 4 up, then on the 7th Brandon pulled one back before slipping back again on 8. The next 5 holes were halved then Jamie won the 13th and 14th to extend his lead. By then the match was won, the only other hole won was the 17th where Brandon birdied to claim the hole. Jamie Gale Wins 5&4 against Brandon Gimbel

Pat O'Dell VMark Ross The next match was an all Scottish affair, Pat started off with 2 birdies to go 2 holes up. The next 4 holes were evenly fought with no one making any impact, before Mark birdied the 7th and Pat's bogey on 8 made it all square again. It was a tight match through 9-11 as either player couldn't be separated but Mark's birdie on 12 put him 1 up. Then holes were traded on 13 and 14 to keep CC-B in the lead. The 15th was halved then Pat won 16 to bring him level, both players birdied the last two holes to bring this tense match to a close at all square. Pat O'Dell and Mark Ross Finish All Square
CC-B 10.5 CC-C 3.5
