So after 2 rounds of our rivalry at Pacific Pines, I've found myself in the middle again. After a 2nd round of 60 I thought I would've made up some ground on Jamie only to see he's matched my round. Les has made a good consistent start of 65 and 64, he will be waiting to pounce on any slip ups. We're waiting to see if Justin and Sam will make an appearance, and whilst Sam might be otherwise occupied tonight with football I'm sure he can't resist a shot at the Blue Moon Championship. This is actually one of the events I successfully named when the powers that be asked for tournament titles after they created the original Challenge Circuit flights way back in season 2 (I think it was) so it's always nice to play it Blue Moon is the old hit single song adopted by the Manchester City fans as the clubs anthem & can be heard booming from the stands every time my local club play. I was indeed cheering the Sky Blues on to topping their Champions League group last night. Anyway, on to the golf & 2 rounds of 66 leaves me floundering, tied in 103rd on 12 under par... well behind my rivals. Really enjoying the course & the settings - very fair & plenty of chances to knock strokes off your card a la Jamie & Pat's 2nd round.

First 2 rounds in the books with -24 currently, pretty happy with that as I Finally got my swing in sync again. This is a really fun course, can be really rewarding if you can drive the par 5 greens in 2 and help you catch up a bit if you've fallen behind which is nice.
Probably do my final 2 rounds tomorrow.

I played my 3rd round last night and scored a -10 round for -27 with 1 round left. Will be playing my final round tomorrow night as I'll be up at Paradise to watch Glasgow Celtic tonight.
All the best for the tournament guys.

All the best to City too, hopefully next year we'll be in the same draw.

Well I got off to a promising start following the new patch but it quickly fizzled out in the 2nd round.
-11, E, -3, -7 Total -21
I remain horribly inconsistent in my scoring. Hopefully I will figure it out one of these weeks!

Not sure if I'll even be able to finish my last 2 rounds. The new patch is absolutely shocking for mouse - I'm having to over double my DPI to just get reliable perfect swings. What a nightmare.

What I gather so far from our rivalry is that I currently have the lead on -34 after a -7 final round. Next up just 3 shots behind me is Jamie who finished with a 66 round to finish -31. Currently Justin is sitting 3rd on -21 who had an inconsistent tournament recording rounds between 72 and 61, he could find himself higher up the leaderboard if he can replicate his best round throughout the tournament. Les is 2 strokes behind Justin with a round to play, but the main question is will the patch suit his game?Simon is at -12 at the halfway point, will he be able to keep up his current form to claim 3rd place?

Man. That 18th hole is so weird. I have an eagle, a birdie and a bogey. I guess a par is next?

Saw this in one of the PGA Tour events....wut. Missed one fairway and only had 5 putts in the final round though so at least he's got that going for him.

No matter the adversity we face, if we persevere through the struggle we can eventually overcome and achieve success just like this sandbagger hero.

Scraped the banter group bronze medal after shaving a combined 10 strokes off the final 2 rounds making a total of -22 for the event. Started out on rounds 1 & 2 using the pro clubs but figured I would give the master clubs a whirl after the patch dropped on PC & found them to be somewhat easier than previous so I will stick with them from now on. Congratz to Pat on a good win for Scotland. Off to watch The Blue Moon Champions now take on Everton.... See y'all next week.
