Just finished my final 2 rounds - really don't like the mouse changes but fiddling with DPI and turning on precise pointer (or something like that) in windows mouse settings helped a bit. But I definitely feel like it's more 'random' now then before and I'm not really a fan of that.
Managed -8 in round 3, and -7 in round 4 for a total of -39. Unfortunately my putting in round 4 was absolutely shocking - ending up with 31 putts in 18 holes which really cost me. Happy overall as that is hopefully top 20, but abit annoying I threw away a top 10.

To ALL:
As designer of the "goat track" that you are playing this coming week: good luck and I hope you enjoy it. There are quite a lot of good birdie chances (and the last two holes both offer legitimate chances at an eagle-eagle finish!) - but there are a few places where being conservative might be the sensible play (starting with the opening tee shot!)
Play well - and all constructive comments on the course are welcome.

Good week for me! My first ever course has been accepted on to the TGCT database (insert shameless plug for Marwood Golf Club), and I've got my best result of the season for the second week in a row. 5 shots off the top 20, when I think of how many I pissed away with the putter. If I can sort that out I might actually start to make a bit of progress around here...

Since I had a free night tonight I thought I'll get a couple of rounds in as my coming week is going to be busy. First round and first shot was straight into the water but recovered to save par. Hit the water twice again in the round but managed to score 66 on my first round. 2nd round I avoided the water and was -6 through the front 9 scoring an eagle on the 4th and bogied the 7th. Then replicated my -6 on the back with 6 birdies to leave me -18 at the halfway mark.
It's a good course although some of the trees made for difficult approach shots, I'm hoping the rest of the field have the same problem. After this tournament I'm contemplating taking a week out but will have to see how I do in this tournament first.

Very healthy to take a week or two out when you feel the need Celtic Wolf. It's always the problem, people feel obliged to play every week and end up hating the game, there's no need! I'm feeling like I'm just getting something going at the moment so not at that stage but it will come. Time to go and shoot things instead of scores! Might play my first round later, we'll see how drunk I am after an NFL double header at the pub. RIP Dolphins Come on Pittsburgh! #UKFins

Decided to play Round 1 last night... It was a rather odd round.
Bogey Free! Only 3 birdies... 3 EAGLES!!! (almost 4... missed a short one) total score: 63 (-9)

Great shooting with the 3 eagles and getting a bogey free round. That's a marker set for the rest of our group, I'm hoping we all can rise to it and start picking up promotion marks.

Right hand fairway at 7? Driver F/F miles left at 10 (nearly at (or even onto) the green)? Left fairway at 17? (although that is the best route legitimately) Driving the green at 18?

I got greedy, took out the driver and gave it a whack... one bounce of the side of the hill and splash!
