I’m going to use Pro Clubs this week there is absolutely no incentive to use master clubs in CC divisions Oddly this course begs for master clubs so I’m switching back to masters. Lol

Lol I’ve used masters since the season started got a demotion point first week took it off second week then just finished mid table after that. Played this course in a practice with both sets and had lots of issues with tempo on masters especially with the irons and pitch shots finished 1 or 2 under pro clubs very few tempo issues finished-8 under. I’m using Pro

Yea but Master clubs are so much more fun. And this is so wide open even the rough is easy to get out of.
It’s not the score. It’s the fun factor

Well my first round started off with a drive into the rough and led to a bogey on the 1st. I got two birdies on the 4th and 6th, then lost concentration on a birdie putt on the 8th and picked up a bogey. I didn't get my act together until the 12th and shot 5 birdies on the last 7 holes for a 67 round. A couple of stupid shots spoiled what could've been a good start. Lovely looking course by the way.

Snap! Played round one, hit the ball ok for the most part but 2 really stupid bogeys spoiled the round. Failed to make a very straightforward up and down from the edge of the green at 9 and then 13 almost saw the controller flying across the room. I'd just eagled 12, had about 8 feet for birdie with very little break and 3-putted. It seems my putting is about as good as Gronk's open field tackling (just thinking about that has cheered me up #UKFins). I did manage to flop in for an eagle 2 at 16, finished with a 65 which really should have been 3 shots better at least. Onwards! Good luck all, nice course.

I played one round with Pro a couple of weeks ago, there were some disadvantages off the tee but so many advantages everywhere else. But I just didn't enjoy it as much, despite the frustration at times I enjoy the challenge. I may change my mind if it means I can never compete but for now I'm sticking with it.

3 rounds done. Round 2 had another infuriating 3-putt bogey from nowhere but apart from that played really well for my best round of the season. Round 3 the putter went cold from everywhere, missed chance after chance but cheered myself up a bit with a nice one for eagle on 18. These 3 rounds are easily the most consistently well I've hit the Masters clubs yet, hoping I've turned a corner and it isn't just a fluke! Now if I could just get that putter working....
65, 60, 66 to sit -25 after 3, 4th round after work tonight hopefully.

Went with MASTER clubs for this one. -7 but MAN - Hole #17 (par 3) came up short and rolled down the hill. Then my 80 foot putt I LITERALLY could not see my club. How the heck can you putt an 80 footer up hill when your club is in blackness. Bogey! FU darkness you are NOT my friend. :-)

I'm done, one very good round and three meh ones. Ball striking, best event yet, putting possibly the worst. Really liked the course, I think my only criticism was the pins in round 4 in the firm conditions - "Oh look, another front pin!" Minor gripe though, that's 2 in a row I've really enjoyed playing 4 rounds on.
65, 60, 66, 66 for a -31 total.

You can’t have hard hard hard as the fun factor decreases. Like good writing you need white space to give the eyes a rest. If you have the same problem every hole it gets redundant my buddy designed a course where all 18 holes are hard. Cuts down the fun NOTE I have not played the 4th round so I have no clue

So after 2 rounds of our rivalry at Pacific Pines, I've found myself in the middle again. After a 2nd round of 60 I thought I would've made up some ground on Jamie only to see he's matched my round. Les has made a good consistent start of 65 and 64, he will be waiting to pounce on any slip ups.
We're waiting to see if Justin and Sam will make an appearance, and whilst Sam might be otherwise occupied tonight with football I'm sure he can't resist a shot at the Blue Moon Championship.

OH - it's a fine course so I'm certainly not complaining. QUESTION got giraffe - OFF TOPIC. Being in the States I have no idea. When do YOUR football teams play. Are they all on one day like American football? or spread out through the week.

Being a big NFL fan too (happy Fins fan this week after THAT play! Get him Gronk!! ) I know that you don't play all in one day either! You've even got some Saturday games this week. Ours is a similar pattern, the bulk of the games are 3pm on Saturdays or midweek evenings but there's all sorts of other time slots for TV games, Friday nights, Sundays, we've even adopted MNF! When the European competitions are going there's basically football every day of the week somewhere. My team is kicking off at 5:30pm this Saturday because we're on telly!

Nobody watches the Thursday games and Monday are only premium channels but the world shuts down on Sundays. I suppose since you guys have more then one big league???
