Hate to break it to you guys but i think you missed the swing tempo stats between platforms....I'll be interested to see the analysis why that doesn't effect scoring. It clearly effects scoring. I'm not a great player, but with that said I ended last season on the PGA tour. I say that as an example. Meaning I knew my yardages, wind, and could execute on TGC2. When TGC2K came out It took a while to get it down but I was just starting to score well when they dropped the server side adjustments. From that day on I can safely say on xbox, I'm without a doubt a minimum of +3 stokes per round avg overall. That's not to say I don't have a nice round or period during a round and score well, because it happens, but just as quick as it came it goes and leads to so many random swings that I scramble for pars and inevitably I get bogeys and even doubles.
So, regardless of all the scientific discussion, which is fine and fun to look at. You only have to ask, or play 5-10 rounds on our system to get all the pertinent data you seek. My conclusion is a +3 stroke per round average over a 10 round sample size.

Yes exactly. I do not need scientific analysis or mathematical equations to tell me something is off. Something that is not discussed is how this also affects pitch/flop/chip shots. Unless I am mistaken the data that we have seen so far was for full shots only. Seeing as how the short game is more difficult overall, is it extra difficult on XB. I am at a point now where unless I play short and right for a fast downswing g, I can’t even hit a pitch or flop. All that being said, I am still going to play. If I am in Web because that is where my “skill level” placed me then I am good with that. I think a indicator to look for at this point is how many XB master club users are promoting through the tours. We are placed where we were and that is fine, but can we now compete at our current level in order to promote?

Been playing with Master clubs for about 4 weeks. Had a really bad go of it this week, near the bottom overall on Euro and missed cut. I have not measured how many of my swings were off PP, but it had to be in the 40% or lower PP. And I'm very frustrated that the one saving grace(pitches and flops) is now equally, if not more affected. Can't save a hole with the short game. Adjusting my game to avoid being less than a full club from the green.
All I can say is that the enjoyment of this great game is slipping away. I don't want to quit, but my enthusiasm is on the wane. All the comments about XB1 players not being very good is arrogant nonsense.

Maybe the Xbox is the best and most challenging version and it's the PC and PS4 versions that need fixing looking at the scores posted

Just got the game for ps4 last night (been playing on Xbox since launch)........Played 3 rounds and I have to say, its a totally different game. On Xbox I was playing for perfect/fast or fast/fast because I could get that way more consistently than perfect/perfect. In 3 rounds on ps4 I had 4 perfect/slows and the rest perfect/perfect. It was definitely harder to get a straight line though, but that was the first time I had ever used a DS4 also.

No exaggeration, I probably went from <20% P/P on xbox to >80%-90% P/P on ps4.....I will see if it affects my scores, im switching platforms starting next week

This is as of Friday Morning: PS4 - Median Accuracy (0.04901034), Average Percentage of Perfect Downswings - 80% XB1 - Median Accuracy (0.044737385), Average Percentage of Perfect Downswings - 63.77% Steam - Median Accuracy (0.049247973), Average Percentage of Perfect Downswings - 73% I know this thread is old, but can it (the data) be reviewed again now that we have a full season in on the new swing mechanic? Would like to see the downswing data for master clubs if possible. Can use promo event 4 maybe??

Friend of mine used an Xbox controller. He picked up my PS4 and was amazed at how much more comfortable an PS4 was in his hands. I have big hands so the PS4 controller feels small to me and not comfortable, the difference between the scores could be attributable to the quality or accuracy of the components in each controller. Maybe Xbox controllers are slightly more sensitive.

I’ve just bought the game on PC and played a few rounds with the standard Xbox controller that came with my Xbox one x. The difference I’m finding is I have played 6 rounds so far on the PC and I have yet to hit a perfect/very fast downswing I then switched to play my over 50’s society on the Xbox one and during the round I hit five perfect/very fast downswings and numerous perfect/fasts. That’s not good for accurate iron shots.

I'm on PS4 and what I have noticed more than anything is that I have got 2 brand new PS4 controllers and they both give different tempo readings! There doesn't seem to be any consistency with the hardware more than a problem with the game itself!

Could also be an issue between the tv and the couch/chair...LOL Seriously though, most have just adapted or moved on to other games..

Just a thought. So, I worked in a video game store for 11 years, just recently ended. Even though I mostly played Playstation, I have tested many Xbox systems at work. And years ago I owned a Xbox 360. 2 things. The Xbox controller is fatter, and the top of the sticks are a tiny bit smaller than Playstation. So, a common sense gamer with average hands probably would find the Playstation controller more confortable on certain games like TGC2019. But I bet a COD shooter games there may be no comfort difference at all. So pick your poison. It is what it is. I have a secret when I play TGC2019. I have 2 different chairs that I sit in. The one chair it seems that I can score much lower and I get aces, albatrosses, and more eagles in that chair. So, I will warm-up in the bad chair and play my TGC Tours rounds in the good chair. My point is,Does any one care about my story or which chair I play my rounds in. PROBABLY NOT?
