Well, if I'm doing great in Q-school, I'll play my last round using Pro clubs. I just posted a dismal 3rd round in the PRO Tour exhibition event. Very high winds. I just couldn't seem to get the wind right. In a real event, I wouldn't make the cut and if I'm continually missing the cut, then that means I am not in that league. Maybe it's psychological but I won't play without a wind meter that indicates winds speed. So, unless they change it, that means no higher than CC-A.

I hate to sound dumb or unaware but what is 'ultra sim'? Is that playing without the grid, marker, wind meter etc.? I use that term as the name for my society, which is basically no aids on crack, so also no putting marker at all, no follow cam allowed (so you can't get an unrealistic green read by watching your approach roll out) and no loft box allowed, distance control is via swing power and tempo only.

Good luck Well, if I'm doing great in Q-school, I'll play my last round using Pro clubs. If the wind meter means that much to you, then just play with pro clubs out of the gate and you don't need to worry about it. You're already using master clubs from what you've posted in the past, so either just accept the challenge or don't and move on. My guess is you're going to use masters regardless, again based on your past posts, so it seems to me that you are not going to just bring yourself to throw away 1 round in Q School just to make sure you won't end up in the upper echelon of tours. Since that is obviously where you believe you'll actually end up if you don't deliberatly throw it, why not just play like you play and "let the chips fall where they may?" Ultimately you'll do whatever gives you the most enjoyment out of the game, I don't believe you will get any enjoyment playing less than where your ability is. So stick with it and keep practicing without the wind speeds showing and like anything else, you will eventually get used to it and get better. Then you won't have to post later how you regret throwing Q School. Good luck on the tours, wherever it is you find yourself !

Such positivity and optimism! PC swing still borked I assume? And then some Sorry to hear that lads This game is much better than 2 IMO, so stick with it and hopefully they’ll square you up. Is it only shagged for mouse users?

Those who are using a mouse on PC for their swing, there is a poll that I put up based on Craig's comments to me. There has been no swing changes in any patches yet, so he wants to hear from us as to how we are doing with the mouse swing. Right now it looks like only 4 of 22 are liking or able to use all clubs with the mouse. Over 1/2 are either not able to use it with any clubs or have actually quit using the mouse or the game itself cause they can't play with the swing as it is currently. I invite anyone using a mouse to go over there, vote and post a comment so Craig can see what we are dealing with. Have you voted, yet, Sassy Ladywww.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php/topic,26317.0.html

Just when one gets used to there yardage with there clubs whether using pro or masters in the last couple days the yardage changes. For the driver it changed maybe a yard or 2 but the 3 wood changed the most by almost 10 yards shorter. But since the last fix I feel more confident using masters now than I did 2 days ago. Not getting the fast downswing like before. Looking forward for this season to get started. One significant change I noticed was pitching with the wedges; lob went from 48 yds to 55 yrds. Good luck to all.
