The problem is, it's quite difficult to shake it off when you know it will just happen again and you will never get anywhere with the continuous issues with the game. Playing on PC is sh%$. A hell hole really. I'm playing on PC and rarely have any issues. What FPS are you averaging? But it could be my specs. I'm running a fairly strong setup: i7-7700k @ 4.10GHz 16 GB DDR4 GTX 1060 6GB DDR5 I don't check FPS while playing. I just want to be able to sit there and have a relaxing time and not have to focus so hard on how the game is running. Your system is newer than mine.

This one's going to be UGLY! PR1 +5 and 33% gir sayspsaysp it all PR2 tomorrow. It's a tough course. Not an easy shot to be found. I have been practicing the last couple of days and realize that at best I might get to par. Below par is impossible for my game for sure!

Most you probably don't know me if your new and if your not, well I've kind of slid into the background and not as active here as I used to be. I rage quit rangering due to a brutally bad tournament round and right after it I requested to be removed from rangering and I had essentially given up on the tournaments. Rarely play the game anymore. For whatever reason, (not going to b%& and moan about it) I just am unable to get into TGC2. Have maybe 50 hours of play time as opposed to around 2000 on TGC1.
So today I decided to have a go at it, Magnolia has always been my favorite course so I just can't pass up the opportunity to play it in an official capacity.
CCB
Had a good 1'st round, 67. (-5). 2'nd round...started out great...then bogey, bogey, birdie...then the dreaded snowman on the 7'th I think it was. I swore a bit. Tried to fight back but wound up with a 77. Round 3, shot a 70 Round 4 70, got an eagle, put it in the water on the 15'th going for the green in 2 whilst not using enough club...saved par..
-4 for the tournament. Oh well. Had some fun, hope to avoid a strike. I may have a bit of a renewed vigor for the game. Actually looking forward to next week.
Good luck everyone in all tiers and have fun with your rounds.

Frustrating course. Finished at -14, and I shouldn't complain, but had a triple, a double, and numerous bogeys. Brutal at times. And then you get pissed off, and that just makes it worse.

E thru 1st +2 thru 2nd Then 3rd I found a bit of success and was -3 with 3 to play then a disasterous 8 shots on the par 3 16th ruined everything. Over shot the green, chipped on but it flew down the hill then 4 shots trying to get back up the hill had me wanting to put my controller thru the tv screen. Had to turn it off and relax before playing rd 4. I picked a bad week to be on a sponsorship exemption m. Will be back to E for me

Your right about Magnolia, there's no way I can compete with these scores, All I'm going to do is get two more red x's and aggravated. But It's the same feeling I got in TW when this time of year rolled around, it's a special week and the designer did a great job in reproducing the course.

I finished -11.
Round 1 67 Round 2 64 Round 3 71 Round 4 75
Slicing it left into the trees on the 72nd hole from the tee summed my last round up nicely

Man I really enjoyed that. What a great course. So many tight pins but they can be got to. And the slopes bring the ball back to the cup. Love it.

Each year, for the fun of it, I've unofficially played The Masters on TGCT. This version of Magnolia is different, being that this is the first gear on TGC2, and the mechanics are very different.
Every time I play it, Augusta kicks my ass. While playtesting the latest changes, I broke par for the first time.
Just as in real life, the wide fairways and abundant light rough lead players into a false sense of security. The course is about having the right approach from the right angle and being able to keep the ball on the same tier as the hole. Then, once you're there, you have to convert.
