Started off with a 64 (-8) then go -2 thru 2 in the 2nd round. I then miss a short putt for par on 4 and that is me finished. I proceeded to max the hole and quit. What do you mean “max the hole”? Take the bogey and move on. It’s meant to be hard. Do you realise that -17 won the CC Masters card last year?

I have never got on with the game anyway so it was only going to take something small.

But just so I’m clear you missed a short putt for par on the 2nd which I think is a par 5? So you then had 6 more strokes for a 12 and quit after being -8 in round 1? Also you won’t quit, you can’t.

Also i may never fully quit but i will never play every week until there is any sort of consistency in terms of swing results. It's a complete f**k fest. TGC2 that is.

I can see where this course is frustrating. Played a couple practice rounds and got hosed on the greens when I hit pretty good shots with wedges.

The missed putt was due to swing issue?

The missed putt was due to swing issue? No, but it contributed to my frustration.

Honestly the community is spoilt with -40 winning tournaments. This week with magnolia is a welcome change in my opinion.

I understand that, but I see people complaining about being realistic and theres a fine line between tough and trolling. I have never seen a PGA tour player hit a full wedge shot into a green and completely spin it off the entire green.

Im a long time tenpin bowler and my departed old man once told me something I will never forget. “Son when you open a frame you have to double strike straight after it to make up for it” Same applies to golf - bogey a hole then birdie the next one and move on. You won’t care cos you just lose it but it works for me. Shake it off or snap the disc and be done with it

I’m not going to say my first 2 round scores but if I can score well here anyone can cos I’m sh%$

The problem is, it's quite difficult to shake it off when you know it will just happen again and you will never get anywhere with the continuous issues with the game.
Playing on PC is sh%$. A hell hole really.

If you have a pin and behind it is a slope, then yes that’s fine. I’m talk about when I hit on a flat part of the green, then decides to spin back like 30 feet. That’s what I’m mostly referring to.

A hell hole really. I'm playing on PC and rarely have any issues. What FPS are you averaging? But it could be my specs. I'm running a fairly strong setup: i7-7700k @ 4.10GHz 16 GB DDR4 GTX 1060 6GB DDR5
