Yea I take the stick back to about center (which I actually discovered in putting). The one thing that kills me is I pull back too slow (I can't get myself to "explode" through the backswing.

I only play Tour as well. It was a long painful journey, but I've now settled on a slow backswing as the norm. I've adjusted my distances based on this theory. I'm around 80% on Perfect down swing. If not perfect, most likely fast. It really helped me to just go slow backswing. When I try to go p/p I tend to get more p/f. For what it's worth I'm sitting in 12th right now on the exemption line. Looking it over, I think I'm going to miss it by a couple strokes unless other struggle in the final round. I ended -30. The last time got an exemption to web I s$!t the bed!! Would love another shot at it. Good luck on this rollercoaster of a ride.

Really enjoyed the tournament again this week, a massive personal best 57 in the final round got me to -33, fingers crossed for an exemption.
Then thought I would play along in the web.com society just for fun, and shot -45, how frustrating is that?! Well, things going in the right direction I guess, just hope I can take the chance to move up if I get it.
Loving these early days on TGCT.

Well I’ve been on holiday all week so will be trying to cram all 4 rounds in when I get home tonight!! Not the greatest preparation / strategy, but it’s all I’ve got...
I’m sensing another strike coming!!

Contrary to what I expected, that should be an exemption :/
Had I been able to drop a putt in R3 I’d likely have won it!!
Better play all my rounds at the end of a 20 hour travel day and a belly full of wine.
Nice track, but R3 and R4 pins particularly I found a LOT of phantom breaks.

In other news, some blokes gone -63 in Q! Ha! That’s ridiculous. 54 / 52 / 54 last three rounds.

I’ve been watching the board every couple hours and just saw ur score took me out of exemption. No hard feelings, just wanted to say great tourney!!!!

I’ve been watching the board every couple hours and just saw ur score took me out of exemption. No hard feelings, just wanted to say great tourney!!!! Thanks mate. That’s much appreciated. I think it might have pushed a few of you on -30 out of exemption so apologies to you all :/ I know some folk used to wait to ram their rounds in late so they could check the scores, but I started at 23:30 (really 01:30 on Cyprus time)and just played through all 4 as it’s the only chance I had. Well played to everybody, especially the winner. Was chasing hard and could have still pipped you with 3 to play. 16 and 17 were just too loose and when I knocked it to 8ft on 18 I knew it was already gone. Didn’t miss the eagle putt on purpose mind!! Had a few “emotional” outcomes during those last 2 rounds. Fist pumps one moment and head in hands the next. For all the core game’s little failings, the TGCT element makes this game invoke pressures and feelings like few others at present.

Well I’ll start off the new tourney!!! I $h!? The bed! I had two practice rounds last two days at -10. So this morning I went at it. I quickly realized I was a terrible putter!!! Bottom line is after round one I sped golfed the final three rounds because I knew I was out of it and I’m going out of town all week for work. U can go really low on this course, just not me...lol. lots of winds and watch the side hill putts. I see a -45 winning. Good luck to the field!!!

You’ve still got to get it in the hole, whichever way you look at it, but that’s low!!

You’ve still got to get it in the hole, whichever way you look at it, but that’s low!! That’s true but you can hit it on your intended line off the tee or with irons without worrying if your going to hook it left or spray it right as long as you get the tempo right

I do alright, I'm pretty straight with Tours, but even if I had a magic controller, I'd still not be likely to be able to score that well due to the other variables to contend with. Sticking it close every time or putting from distance would cost me the shots to go that low.

I agree with you mate I’m not to shabby with the Tour Clubs it’s dialling in the distance I struggle with as well. Putting is another game altogether for me, if I could putt I would be back on the Euro tour again. In my case with putting it’s all about getting the pace right I miss so many putts usually long and the ball finishes directly behind the hole if it was hit at the right pace it would probably have gone in. So frustrating.
