Just pinging this for others to notice. If you come across courses that you think would play well on the CC's then bring them to my attention. There's not many new courses I miss, but some do fly under the radar.
Trusevich : The main reason I host that contest is to stockpile new courses for the upcoming season. Katokosmos and McNaughton have both already been through rangering and on the schedule for season 4.
jacobkessler Is there some sort of criteria we should be looking for? I usually love all the courses that I have seen people gripe about so I was just wondering if there was certain pre-requisites we should be looking for? Like no firm/fast, things of that nature.
No... just something you like and has the difficulty level of a CC course. Basically no 9,000 yard fast firm course in the highlands theme with the 20mph winds... lol.
First Griff will scout it and if he thinks it should be on tour, he'll have the rangers test it. We just want to get some suggestions going since the other thread never got pinned.
Jacob, we need sleet and freezing rain for the Winter Months LOL!
I would like to suggest monthly movement instead of weekly, now hear me out on this.
I love the game. To make it better for me would be the social aspect so to speak. Too much movement, you lose track of players and not enough people talk in the forums.
If, for example you stay on a tour flight for 4 events then at the end of the fourth the top 10 players move up a flight and bottom 10 move down it would create more completion between flights, you’d start to know each other, have some banter and look out for rival scores etc. The exception being tournament winners would still move up on a week to week basis.
Just a raw thought but there is something there, what do you guys think? Maybe just trial it for cc am
