Please keep this thread about courses for the Challenge Circuit. If you have a suggestion regarding how promotions and demotions should work, please post that over in the Suggestion Box section of the forum.

Apache Pass Hobble Creek Just played Fox Chapel in the CC-am-D exhibition and it was a bad choice as the fairways were all sloped, some tee boxes were not level and the 16th green in round 3 had a deep ditch after the flag and of course I landed in it. To me that course was not suitable for the caliber of players in CC-am just look at the scores of how many golfers were even or minus par. whomever picked it must not have played more than once. Two things I have to say... if Griff picked it, I guarantee you it was played more than once (and likely more than 5 times) as he's been a scheduler for a while and volunteers time out of his day to check to make sure these are suitable. He knows what he's doing. Also, Fox Chapel is a mostly accurate RCR of a real course. Here's the green that you're complaining about: Also, these exhibition events are more for testing out the API and other behind the scenes stuff, rather than getting courses just right. Anyway, that's all I have to say about this. Old White at Greenbrier has one like this too. Just don't put the pin in the center of the slope (EA).

I'd love to see my courses on tour... Reserve at Calder Plantation & The Links at Lochlan Bay Only iffy pin is Pin 4 on 18 at Lochlan... I really enjoyed Calder. Kind of a Pine Valley feel. Not too difficult, but nice challenge and just pretty to look at all the way through. It's been added to my Career rota if that matters.

Suggestion particularly for CC Am is Pitreavie Golf Club which can be found in game as Fife's Finest- Pitreavie v2. It is a real life course and having played it a few times I can say it is a pretty damn good representation in tgc2 maybe a few borrows not quite the same as I remember. The real course is in Dunfermline Scotland, and was designed by Alastair MacKenzie of Augusta National fame. It is not the longest course at just over 6,000 yards and a par 71 off the medal tees. It is however, fun to play and sufficiently challenging for CC am although I do not believe it is a tgc course and I have not designed it so I cannot submit it.

Scottsdale Desert Classic - TPC Scottsdale, Arizona V2 Carolina Classic - Pinehurst #2
Dont even ask why, we all know choosing those courses would just make sense (unless playability issues arise).
Also, The Greens at Old Buckhead would be a great stop once Griff releases it.

TPC Crow Run. Might be an option for CC-Am as it is probably too easy for CC-Pro. Figured I'd suggest it. It would be cool to have a course on tour

I’m curious where The Chastener will land. At 6,800 yards, it might be a nice CC course, although the greens and fairways could cause fits at that level. Hard to say I guess, but hopefully it can be enjoyed somewhere.

TPC Rocky Mountain High is my 3rd course approved. Would love to see it on the tour. Would mean that Im headed in the right direction with my design skills. Thanks Rangers and Reviewers!

I'm gonna suggest one of mine, Claymore Course at Arkinholm (Tour) the white tees would be suitable for CC-Am. It is a longer course but has medium/fast greens and plays smoothly.
