jacobkessler Is there some sort of criteria we should be looking for? I usually love all the courses that I have seen people gripe about so I was just wondering if there was certain pre-requisites we should be looking for? Like no firm/fast, things of that nature.

No... just something you like and has the difficulty level of a CC course. Basically no 9,000 yard fast firm course in the highlands theme with the 20mph winds... lol. First Griff will scout it and if he thinks it should be on tour, he'll have the rangers test it. We just want to get some suggestions going since the other thread never got pinned.

Faxon Chatwood Jupitor Just a couple off top of head Jupitor I have already had rangered and scheduled, but we are delayed. it will certainly be a CCAm stop once we resume. Faxon I have shied away from only because it's an "official course". It's certainly worthy, but as we have new courses coming out I'm more inclined to use ones that haven't received as many plays and publicity...still a good possibility though. I haven't played Chatwood as of yet, so thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Gewella Golf Club 2017 is a beauty, interesting length variations and memorable holes. It is however an update on the TGC1 version so I don't know if this disqualifies it or not.
Just played friendbomber's Celebration Golf Club and it's a cracker too.
IMO they'd both be good for CC-Am.

Play a course you think should be on tour? Post it here! Apache Pass Hobble Creek Just played Fox Chapel in the CC-am-D exhibition and it was a bad choice as the fairways were all sloped, some tee boxes were not level and the 16th green in round 3 had a deep ditch after the flag and of course I landed in it. To me that course was not suitable for the caliber of players in CC-am just look at the scores of how many golfers were even or minus par. whomever picked it must not have played more than once.

Actually, I recommended the course to Smiling Goats for the CC Exhibition event. Web guys will destroy that course, so it actually is a CC course. Secondly, it's a pretty accurate RCR of Fox Chapel in Pittsburgh. Thirdly, I'm trying not to burn through every suitable tour course I have before we even start the season. If we want to get down to brass tax, there's VERY few courses out right now that you guys will think is suitable for CCAm AND has the looks and playability to be considered tour worthy. Not sure what to say beyond that...

Two things I have to say... if Griff picked it, I guarantee you it was played more than once (and likely more than 5 times) as he's been a scheduler for a while and volunteers time out of his day to check to make sure these are suitable. He knows what he's doing. Also, Fox Chapel is a mostly accurate RCR of a real course. Here's the green that you're complaining about: Also, these exhibition events are more for testing out the API and other behind the scenes stuff, rather than getting courses just right. Anyway, that's all I have to say about this.

Keep in mind, there's always the CLV masterpiece of St Andrews to fall back on. Is there a single player who wouldn't relish four goes at it?
Oh, and give Mandolin Walk a look too.

Mandolin will be on CC at some point, but it's currently in the Summer Showdown design contest so it's a no-go until we finish the judging process. Appreciate the heads up though. This is a great resource I hope you guys take advantage of over the next season.
