So here's where we stand: Current and Russell have posted -48 and Sommers has posted -23. If Griffin Ray shoot -26 or better, him and Sommers take victory. Otherwise, Current and Russell win. If both teams are tied, the team with the worst round is eliminated. Good luck everyone.

To make it fair you should start +1 through 3 holes.

I wasn't able to stream these rounds (been having wifi issues), but they were definitely dramatic, especially the second. I figured I'd talk about that one in detail, so please pardon the wall of text. Round 1: I got off to a really hot start, -8 thru 9. I faltered a bit on the back, though. Almost holed a flop for eagle on 18 that would've been a really nice shot to have as a cushion. All in all, though, not a bad round. Round 2: The start this time was the polar opposite of last round. After two opening pars, I was behind the 8-ball early. I finally got under par with a birdie on 3, the par 5. Then, my putter ignited: three 20-footers on 4, 5, and 6 kept our team alive. I followed those putts with a satisfying up-and-down from a plugged lie in the sand to keep the streak going (quick aside: did hole 7 remind anyone else of #5 on Emerald Dragon from the TW games?). Two birdies to close the front nine put me in good position, but I still needed to play the back 9 well to earn our team the win. I got my worst break of the tourney on 11, the dramatically uphill par 3 -- I wanted to land the ball just on the green, but instead, the ball landed on the fringe and hopped and rolled over the green, leaving me a 10-yard shot that I nearly holed. Fortunately, though, I got my best break of the tourney on 14. I wanted to have my ball funnel off the slope behind the pin, but I flew it a couple yards farther than I wanted. I watched in horror as the ball crept up to the top of the slope, then breathed a sigh of relief as it *just* started to trickle back and eventually settle within 6 feet of the cup. On 17, I had a 15-foot birdie putt that looked pretty straight. I knew that making it would probably get us the victory, especially with 18 being a par 5, so I hit it aggressively. Unfortunately, it was a power lipout that ran about 8 feet past the hole. I was glad to get the par, but I knew I left a bit of work to do on 18. I had a 42-yard third shot, which is normally an easy up-and-down, but the wind and the slope of the green made it pretty tricky. My goal was to be directly under the hole to leave an uphill putt, and I was able to get it almost spot-on, leading to a fairly stress-free birdie putt to finish the round. -13, *drumroll please* -13: -26 Thanks very much to golferdude1994 for running this. This was probably my favorite community event, so I'd love to play UTC 2 at some point in the near future. birdiesimmo, thanks for picking me as your partner. I had a blast and hope we can try to defend our title if there's a second edition. Kudos to SweetTeeBag and jtcurrent on a very strong final round; you guys put up an extremely good number, and I'm equal parts surprised and proud that Steve and I edged y'all out by one. Congrats also to Rob and Rod on making the top 3 -- certainly no small feat with such a strong field. I'll finally shut up now.

Fantastic finish...maybe a bit too fantastic. Nice work fellas...you earned the W. Really enjoyed this setup...it's fun playing knowing Tim is relying on me to not crap the bed. Hopefully we can run if back soon and maybe Burton will entertain me as teammate again.

Much respect to JT and Tim - you guys both played well enough to win. As for my partner DO, what can I say? Carried me through the last two Rds with four clutch rounds -All the while winning tour events in between. It was humbling to watch. Golferdude, thanks so much for hosting the event it was a blast!
