Shat the bed. -13 followed by -9. Drives were all over the place. Went in water for bogey on 4. Was even par after 5 holes and -5 through 14 before I stringed together four birds to save face. Be surprised if someone doesn't pull -30 and these two. Hopefully Griff does it🎁🎅 -18, -9: -27. That should put us at -49 (very close scores so far!). Outside of a holed 80-yard pitch in the first round, this felt like by far the worst luck I've had since I returned from that little hiatus. Not much went right, especially on Port Sunlight, although I'd be lying if I called my play on the back 9 anything but inexcusably abysmal. Great courses this week, though. Good luck to the players who have not yet finished.

👍 Way to go P!
Based on what I'm seeing that gives us a shot at final 3.

Just another sign were ready for TGC2 JT. Would love to be proud of a 65. Sometimes I go -2 through 5 holes and wonder if I blew the round or even the tournament. You just know that whoever wins is going to drain almost every putt under 18 feet. How long have you been playing TGC? I thought u were relatively new to the game and the tours. You sound like youv been playing for years like the rest of us. End of 2014 I bought the game. Joined Tgc tours end of May 2015 and didn't REALLY get into the game until July/August in terms of nailing down the mathematics and technique and all. Joined boards in November although in some ways I wish I stayed off. Only so much time in my week to play, let alone write about playing.

That's all I have time for. I Do a 3 or 5 hole tune up and jump right into the tournament. I suspect most top dogs are doing 500 or so? But I think that limited time commitment meant it took me more time to polish my game. Seems most top players were there the minute they joined tgc tours.

The website says ur a member of the tours since may 2016 (this year), is this incorrect? Im curious as to how long u hav been playing on ps4 because if its only been a few months you hav had the most impressive of starts to ur tgct career. U hav gone from finishing 8th in a CC-E event to competing with the best around here in just a couple of months.

That should put the doubters to rest since we know what Lilico/Boomer sounds like from multiple podcasts/course streams he did. Pretty easy solution

I see evidence everywhere that many folks were top tier players just a few months after owning game. What about you Smurf? How many rounds did it take you to be top 100?

Then I posted iPhone video hitting full power shots straight down fairway one after another. And at this point I couldn't care less about what you think so get back on your gazelle and pump yourself up. You prove I'm breaking a rule or shut up. Being jealous because I have more raw talent than you and then making an ass of yourself about it isn't becoming.

I played the game a few months before i was aware of TGCTours. Then done q school and was immediately placed in PGA. Then it took another few months before i became competitive. Im not saying its not possible to improve alot in a few months, it is, if u put the effort in. Did u go into CC E from q school? Goin from a CC E player to a contender on PGA in a few months is incredible. When i 1st joined there was not that many really good players like there is now. Even Ian Sweeney wasnt consistently winning at the time. All the people who hav been playin this game for years now know how to play just about every shot. I guess what im curious about is how someones level goes from 8th in a CCE event to competing with the very best from PGA/EURO in just a few months. All this with u saying that u dont even play the game that much. That i hav never seen before. Like i said its possible, but to me its not probable.

I never got invited to a twitch stream so not sure what that is all about. If you don't want to twitch a live stream with chat pretty much seals it for me it then who you are.
Sorry, all the time I have now. Back to the gazelle!

Google doc has been updated and man is it close. So far we have a -49 team -48 team and -47 team. We might just need that tiebreaker for our purposes. For questions on the tiebreaker refer to the bottom of page one.

All this with u saying that u dont even play the game that much. That i hav never seen before. Like i said its possible, but to me its not probable. I see. Well I think I would've been placed a lot higher out of the gates if it weren't for one mistake. When I bought the game I set my power setting on full and didn't give it much thought thereafter. I remember doing q-school and wondering how everyone else was splitting the fairway and I was all over the place. In the long run this worked out I suppose as I had to get very good technically to advance through CC tours. (Although I'm still too much of a gambler off the tee to be consistent like you top 5 guys) Wasn't until late summer that I started reading blog advice regularly and started to come together. If I'd have seen Doyleys posts earlier it may have helped. For me the biggest breakthrough was developing a systematic approach to putting. Being good at this game is 70% putting. Someone can get a swing cheat tool and beat me off the tee or even on the approach, but they'll never be able to putt. And the reason your better than me and Ian is better than you is his putting skill. For me, having a system made all the difference as it gave me confidence and consistency and eliminated my nervous yips.
