I played the game a few months before i was aware of TGCTours. Then done q school and was immediately placed in PGA. Then it took another few months before i became competitive. Im not saying its not possible to improve alot in a few months, it is, if u put the effort in. Did u go into CC E from q school? Goin from a CC E player to a contender on PGA in a few months is incredible. When i 1st joined there was not that many really good players like there is now. Even Ian Sweeney wasnt consistently winning at the time. All the people who hav been playin this game for years now know how to play just about every shot. I guess what im curious about is how someones level goes from 8th in a CCE event to competing with the very best from PGA/EURO in just a few months. All this with u saying that u dont even play the game that much. That i hav never seen before. Like i said its possible, but to me its not probable. I see. Well I think I would've been placed a lot higher out of the gates if it weren't for one mistake. When I bought the game I set my power setting on full and didn't give it much thought thereafter. I remember doing q-school and wondering how everyone else was splitting the fairway and I was all over the place. In the long run this worked out I suppose as I had to get very good technically to advance through CC tours. (Although I'm still too much of a gambler off the tee to be consistent like you top 5 guys) Wasn't until late summer that I started reading blog advice regularly and started to come together. If I'd have seen Doyleys posts earlier it may have helped. For me the biggest breakthrough was developing a systematic approach to putting. Being good at this game is 70% putting. Someone can get a swing cheat tool and beat me off the tee or even on the approach, but they'll never be able to putt. And the reason your better than me and Ian is better than you is his putting skill. For me, having a system made all the difference as it gave me confidence and consistency and eliminated my nervous yips. Why would waste hours sandbagging early on? I suppose your suggesting perhaps I am some known player who got booted out of here and then showed up in another account? I think you know that if I suddenly found some swing aid the putting would not improve. Putting is about distance control. I don't miss putts and say "damn I pulled that one". What's most curious to me is how people putt well on True Sim. That's the question we need to address, no? I mean you can't even see the roll! Think about it.

I've left you plenty to do partner. The first course is so short and soft that the 56 that I put up, genuinely felt like level par. Course two, well let's just say this...The swear jar is full to the brim. I've never missed so many putts and moved the marker 1 more with approaches, when if I'd have left it where I originally aimed it, it would have been perfect! Aside from my bad play, the courses were both very good. Good luck all Sorry, Bradley.... played like sh%$ (too). Round 1 > 57 (-14) Round 2 > 66 (-6) While Rd1 was still okay (but totally unspectacular), I messed it all up at Port Sunlight. Bad putts, lipped-out putts, over-the-hole-running putts, just all kind of BS. Also wasn't precise enough with my shots, which I blame to my stupidness and the wind a bit maybe. Sorry again, I wish I'd have played better. Round of 6 Team Garcia/Oberholzer Final score: -44

We win as a team and we lose as a team We both didn't bring our A game this week, that's OK, we still got to the round of 6 by playing some great stuff along the way. It's been great being your partner Thomas. Good luck to everyone that's progressing.

Just completed my rounds guys -13 -12 -25 total Was luckless in round 1 and played strong in round 2 to get us back in the game miacanes12 Will update the google doc momentarily. So here's how we stand Simpson and Dallas at -51 and Sommers, Ray at -49 are safe and in the round of 3. Garcia, Oberholzer and Smith/Allen are eliminated. It comes down to how Macmillan and Murphy score. If they better -48, they will be in. If they fail to get to -48 they will be out and Current and Russell punch the last slot to the round of 3. smurfblade88 you and Paul have just over 12 hours to get your rounds in, otherwise you will have to forfeit. If you have already played, please post your scores. Thanks .
