Dang wish I went Euro Tour now. I checked out Eagleton and set an Xbox record 58 on my 1st try. Made some sick putts. Oh well, I chalk it up as a confidence booster. Nice Start! I have hit a 60 -12, and 62 -10 so far in my 2 practice attempts. Hope to have at least 10 under my belt by the time it kicks off and aim for a -40 across 4 rounds

Played this course a ton now. Been trying to beat the course record (XB1) for a couple of days. Have a bunch of -9 to -12 rounds, but finally broke through this morning for a -57 (-15)!

Nice scoring, I played it for the first time today and shot -8. Was -6 at the turn but couldn't get anything going on the back 9. Enjoyed the course, very fair. Tried Jebel Ali Emirates after and struggled for -6 there. Some of those pin locations are tough being right next to the rough and the slopes around the cups on a few holes are pretty steep. I was following Silap who shot -11, looks like he had the hang of the greens straight off.

Sorry to cause you so much trouble, that -14 I shot was surely a fluke on my part. I could try to one up your score and may not even get to -10 in 50 tries. I may have a go just to admire your ghost. Hope to see you duking it out with the Euros on the 1st tourney so we can steal a trophy back to the states.

I know I am not going to play that tournament, I guess I will have to cross over that week. (even tho I made a nice HIO on hole 16 ) Anyway, after several -6 to -8 I finally made a -13 on the Eagleton, and that was without birds on the two short par 4s in the begining. So, with not too much wind, the top dogs are gonna play -18 on this. I will be satisfied with somewhere between - 30 and -40, probably in the middle of the field then I guess.

I had the course record on Eagleton for a long time (on the pc side) I doubt -18 is going to be what it takes each round to compete. -18 rarely happens on decent user designed courses. I'd take your -40 and happily accept the high prize money that will come with that score

I think if you can get to -40 you are in good to shape to compete for a win any given week. My weekly goal is -32 (-8 a round) -- That should make most cuts.

Good solid course to kick off the season, I've been practicing on this course and been averaging -11 with fair winds. Good luck.

You saying he averages -55 every week? If its a proper course that isn't tricked up then yes. On LGGT his rounds would be between -12 and -15. In a 2 round tournament I shot -26 and he beat me by 2. Disturbed shoots that low as well, I will easily expect them to score between -50 and -60 every week.

For what it's worth, nobody on my PGA Tour shot in the -50's during our major weeks (4 rounds at difficult courses). I think it's more accurate to say they'll easily shoot between 40-under and 52-under. Anything beyond 52-under isn't easy on any course you'll see on TGCT.

I hope so as I'll be around the -32 to -40 mark most weeks. I have a feeling Powderfinger in week 3 the winning score will be between -52 and -58 with the helping green slopes. Should be a fun shootout.
