So far logged 8 practice rounds at Eagleton, got as low as 61, and averaging around 66. I figure if I could do that in the tourney, should at least make the cut.
Jebal seems to be getting a bad rap. Personally I enjoy it. Played 4 rounds last night, 69-75-66-69. However judging by the PS4 leaderboard either not to many have played it yet, or it is a bit harder than most, as there weren't many scores in the low 60's as of last night.
Going to try practice rounds on Euro and PGA before deadline each week to determine which courses are a better fit, and crossover to PGA as needed. Definately won't be at SONY OPEN, as I really didn't care much for the North Atlantic Links Course. Nothing wrong with the course, just not really to my taste.

Managed to break my on CR tonight, despite making pars on both back nine par 5's. Happy with the score, but very unimpressed with those two holes. Hope I can keep this kind of scoring up in the tournament!

Very nice Adam - after all that you have a net of -3! Shows that you well - I have trouble getting to within 2 or 3 over with my handicap. Do that a couple of times and I think you may run away with it!

Yeah, the handicap system can be rough if you shoot a lot of rounds in the low 60's and high 50's...
Also, glad you and the other heavy hitters will be playing elsewhere during the tourney! Gives a guy like me a shot!

Did 12 under earlier. 7 birdies in a row to start then went a bit cold on the back 9.
Still, would be happy to repeat it when it counts.

Shooting like that you don't have to worry about heavy hitters.

Bloody hell..... Just reading this thread is getting me worried... Seems like a bad score is around 65... I'd be buzzing to shoot that lol

I'm with you Kamack, seems like I won't be making many cuts, these guys are shooting in one round what I would accept after four :-( Good Luck one and all.

Just seen the early scores on the leaderboard for PS4 and wont spoil them on here! Crashbird I think you are the only HTOC players to pull out to play this and thus would be most peoples pick to win the event! Looking at your score I think I can run it very close which is pleasing for me but I will need to be on top of my game as my best practice round is -12

Just finished my 4 rounds, as I am going away all week on work. The first round started nice and smooth with a pleasant 3mph wind, shot 61. Second round was 6mph, still shot 61. Third round it decided to test me, was steady headwind at 13-14 mph, I still managed 61! Very pleased with that one, some good putting there. Fourth round was even more wind, with up to 16 mph gusts, and I didnt think it would happen, but I actually got nervous! I Still managed a 63, and I cant say anything else than how good that round was, as I almost had personal best on the 3 first rounds. Good luck to the rest of you! regards, J

Looking at your score I think I can run it very close which is pleasing for me but I will need to be on top of my game as my best practice round is -12 I wouldn't say I was the favourite coming in and the score I posted is what I'd normally score, should be good enough for a top 20 or even a top 10. 4th round I struggled and had to rely on 2 chip in birdies. I probably could have made 2 or 3 more birdies each round but those short putts with the slight slope that just go straight got me every time, don't think I made a birdie all 4 rounds on the par 5 3rd because of that. Figured I'd get all my rounds in early as we are supposed to get 8 inches of snow tonight turning into freezing rain, which usually means power lines down for who knows how long. Good luck everyone.

Just shot 61 in my opening round in 8-12mph winds.
I hit a lot of poor shots but made up for it with some beastly putting. Missed a couple towards the end but it's a miracle i went bogey free so happy with the round.
Wind actually died down to 6mph on the last hole. Was tempted to continue but i've decided to play all my tournament rounds on different days and i'm sticking to it.
Hopefully i will hit some better shots when i return and take a bit of pressure off the putting.

I also kept it bogey free which was pleasing however in practice have usually found an eagle at some point which I avoided today! Holes 6-14 the highlight area running -7 for them 9 holes. Holes 9 and 11 I was particually pleased to birdie as these I have struggled on in practice and in reverse Holes 3 and 17 I could only Par when I would be expecting a birdie on them. All in all if I can keep this up for remainder of tournament I am hopeful that will be enough to secure a top 10 finish! My 5 rounds so far have seen scores between -6 to -10

That's about what I've been doing to Rob. I did fire a -12 earlier today, but I'm sure that won't happen come tourney time. My goal is -32. -8 per round..

Played drunk. Played as poorly as I could. After practice, the worst four-round total I'd put together was -40. shot -16 twice and -15 four times in practice. Finished at -32, going 64-67-57-68. Drunk and distracted is a terrible way to play. Really dumb on my part, knowing I had an entire week, plus. Was just too excited to play...
