Stent I the only one who has not done a course? Ive never published a course either Well if you guys keep it that way I think I will have a pretty decent chance Look forward to seeing what you guys produce. My course is at the plot stage... I have marked out 2 holes but otherwise haven't built any yet. Feels like a very long way to go... as per usual it will be last minute from me

pyates & myself don't really do the work in progress (WIP) thing..... I can't speak for Patrick but I much prefer to surprise the communities here & over at the HB forum with a completed course than systematically release pics & info in a works in progress thread, although I understand the benefits & why some do it - to create hype & get pre-publish feedback. Pics don't do the actual design justice in many cases & the ones that are "spiced up" with special effects software are a turn off for me! When it comes to design competitions I prefer to see a ruling that bans WIP's, teasers & early releases before a specified date running up to the finishing date but saying that if the rules are different, so be it - I don't moan about it & just go with the flow. If you guys wanna let me know what I'm up against - feel free, I won't complain..... Me; I'm keeping my cards close to my chest until at least the 1st of December & even then you'll only get 1 teaser pic ok! maybe 2 Best of luck guys & have fun!

I tend to agree. I took a few pics and they don't look nearly as good as real thing. On flip side i see pics of in progress work and they look fantastic. So in essence my course must just look like poo...cuz I didn't care much for how the pics looked.

Stent I the only one who has not done a course? And no...I have no idea what that first word was supposed to be. Looks like you miss typed an "S" for the "A" & a "T" for the "R" as well as missing out the apostrophe when writing the word "aren't" which would have made the sentence & question:- "Aren't I the only one who has not done a course?" You're typing skills are rated as "D minus" by our independent adjudicator - make sure you bring your "A" game to the design contest

Used University Links Remastered as one of the Endeavour 2 Championship courses. Loved it...wish I was playing that Championship....

Do you get the same color pallette options for fairways....rough...greens for all themes? Do you get the same rocks...trees...plants for all themes. I think there are different tree and plant options for tropical obviously....but do rocks change? Thought I seem a willow tree in one of the themes

Course Name finalized - 100% 18 holes plotted - 100% Number of times I have went back through and made changes - more than I care to think of Chances I will redo holes already completed because I learned something after the fact - 100% Chances I will spend an hour doing something only to mass erase it - 50% Chances I have an idea and stick with it till it's done - 50% Ability to get bunkers sculpted and looking nice - 50% Frustration level - 40% Fun level - 100% Chances my wife will complain today about me being on the console - 100% Every day the Xbox is not busted into pieces on the garage floor when the door goes up is a good day.
In all seriousness...things are moving along a little quicker now and I can honestly say when I leave a hole and move on to the next one I have not been going back and doing a total makeover.

I am unfortunately drifting very close to 0% on almost all elements... the only thing I have going for me is the fact I know exactly what I want to build, I know how to do it and have a decent start. Haha... need to pull my finger out but very busy time for me right now
