Sure fire way is to have a collar of fairway all round your green - make sure it's at least a couple of mower widths at it's minimum though & doing that will make aprons, run off, bail out, & collection areas easy to add to your green complex.

I have that on some greens now. I didn't want to do that on every hole however if I could help it. Figured that would be a sure fire way of getting Griff'd

Having the edges of said aprons running off at +45° will however.

circle brush is your friend. leave it ENTIRELY inside the green and just click a few times. You'll get it. Worked nicely....free rounds for life on my course if it passes the smell test.

For some reason I recall Willowbank having a large drop off the back green on #4 or #5 didn't it? Whatever hole it was I know I was there.

Yeah...... there were a couple of holes on Willowbank that had steep, steep "drop offs" but they were fairway "run offs" not green!! To be honest they were too steep even for fairway & really should have been light or heavy rough.... I did make sure an easy flop shot got you back close to the pin though

Rather have a few ski slopes than endure the pain of TPC Cackalacky (cart path version). 😃
James used this as one of the rounds in 4 ball. I think one of my approach shots is still rolling.....

If you hit a cart patch on Cackalacky then you hit a REALLY bad shot...lol. I honestly don't recall a cart path that comes into play... Cackalacky is one that I fully plan on redoing when TGC2 comes out. There are several things I want to clean up, and I want to make a medium firm version of it. I just can't stand the crashing on ps4 to make those changes.

Nice... Was just referring to firmness. Clint carried that entire round... I was just along for the company
