So after seeing a thread/tutorial on Steam about using SweetFX for The Golf Club I finally got a chance to try it out the other day. Wow, what a difference it makes! Haven't had a lot of time to play around with all of the filters yet but here are some before/after screenshots using only a single filter..... Again, these are undoctored screenshots other than some resizing. Colors are much more vibrant in the game and the shadows now have some heft. The only downside I have noticed so far is that it's a bit more difficult to see what you are doing in the designer with this running. You can always save a second preset or toggle it on/off while in the game or designer at any time though. So has anyone else here been using this? What filters are you running?

Hmm, that looks pretty darn nice! I've tried SweetFX on other games before without much success, but I'll have to give it a go with TGC...

Interesting - not sure if that looks too dark but as you say thats only one filter.
Will look into this.

Looks like here does the trick. 1.6 seems to be the latest version. ceejay.dk/

I set this up, but I need to really learn alot more about sweetFX settings -- the example on that Steam thread is just WAY too dark for me...
I'll update once a learn a little more and can come up with some settings that I like...

I used it at first but the colours are way to saturated and dark imo. Prefer the default look.

How much a FPS hit does it cause?

How much a FPS hit does it cause? since its a 3rd party program, i would imagine zero, the game is not rendering the changes, so its not much different than adjusting your monitor's settings either by hand or by software.
