I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself but I think I've figured out the math for tgc2. If it works on the next course I play I'll post it. Tried it out and shot -5 on the last course I played.

Can someone tell me precisely what does and doesn't still work on TGC2 for this chart?

TGC2 is a totally new game as far as the swing mechanics, distances & lofting options are concerned.
Simply forget about this chart. It is irrelevant for TGC2.

With that new tempo based swing it's not going to be as easy to create such a guideline as for TGC1.
But I didn't test at all on the Driving Range myself so far... so I might be wrong.

Correct. Or at least not as precise (percentages) as we were used to.
That's why lofting has become much more difficult in TGC2.

Having recently signed up to TGCT (1 week ago) but have been playing TGC 2 for some time now. Can I just say the TGCT tips and tricks spreadsheet Doyley produced back in 2014 is so relevant for people like myself. As I read it there is so much to think about. Instead of looking at each shot like Doyleys spreadsheet suggests, I was looking at other ways (changing to tour clubs) that have actually detracted from what I'm trying to achieve which is shooting lower scores. I look forward to putting this into practice and climbing the TGCT ladder. Will keep you posted with progress.

I just stumbled across this looking for some help on my approach shots and I have to say this made one heck of a difference. I know this was written for TGC1 but the wind/elevation math still works great in TGC2.
I improved my GIR by 27% in one round!
Now that whole putting thing is another story......
