Discovered a few new things
-My horse can pick plants
-If you stop for the roadblocks they will let you through (shine delivery)
-you can reset some awards and get .4 nuggets of gold
Have become kind of bored playing lately. Everything at level 20 except naturalist which I will never do. No interest in seeing her and getting gassed because I had to defend myself against a wolf or something. And 20 shots to sedate an animal and hope it doesn't run away.
Ran into my 1'st official griefer yesterday. Just minding my business killing pigs at Flatrock. Guy comes up and downs me with poison knives. I reacted too slow, wasn't expecting it. Hit parlay then went to switch servers. Noticed at the very last moment his user name "Fat N word (full word was in his name.) Wish I had that moment back. I would have fought him back and reported his name. I'm no prude and nothing really offends me but in this day in age it's unacceptable. Well in any day and age actually. And if you want to grief someone with a username like that then you are fair game.
Today got really bored. Went back to Destiny 2 to level up my season pass. Have no idea what's going on with the new battlegrounds and progression loop. Jumped into a "battleground" totally blind. At the end (its matchmade with 2 other people I sent a text (you can speak to people in this game) "Sorry, been away from the game a long time, no idea what's going on"
Finally after half an hour I start to get my control back. Very different feel, floaty, fast paced and gunplay focused game. Message pops up on screen that Destiny will be down for scheduled maintenance. Oh yeah, Tuesday is update day. (they actually fix bugs and update a lot and communicate with their players daily it seems..hello HB?) So now I'm on downtime. Just when I was getting back into it lol.
May do an hour of Red dead I guess until D2 is back up.

Sometimes ya gotta raise a little hell in RDR like I did the other day  I only play an hour or so at a time because I also play other games, mostly Battlefield, PGA, NBA2K and some No Mans Sky. It helps keep all of the games from getting too boring for me. It’s also why I’m a jack of all and a master of none lol. |

I do it by entering ONLINE from the menu and choosing one of the places that comes up from Free Roam to Camp, etc.
I just had a fella blow me up and when I respawned he was waiting so I left the server. As long as I am not in the middle of a mission, swapping servers is fine.
What I have been running into is players at the location of my deliveries (in trader) and how when we fight anyone who may be there, the other player(s) loot everyone I am shooting.
This game really needs chat.

Have noticed you fellas talk about changing servers,why would you do that and how I only change servers if there are sht heads that continuously interfere with me. |

Biggest reason for me is when on a mission and another real player helps out/follows you and seems to want to play together, it is impossible to do without chat of some sort. Not big into joining a posse as the few "teams" I have joined over the years has a structure a bit too stringent as to when I have to play with them versus just free roam and having fun. |

yes and Cliffs is too. I go by the name OldSlinger if you ever see me out there. I keep to myself and don't bother people but will jump into help if I see someone doing a roadblock or something and won't grab their loot. I may grab one or three of only the ones I killed but by rights leave it to the person who initiated the fight. They may be doing a mission so wont hinder them

Look for Dusty_Roads when online.
I just had a player on mic ride up and ask me to take a pic after he took a pic of me. It is one of today's challenges. He then saw I was hunting and went and dropped off a perfect buck carcass for me at my camp. Now that's playing this game and having fun. Might just have to get a mic and put my "accent" out there...LOL

No pics taken in the time I played today. By me or someone taking one of me. May explain the guy lurking around my camp at one point but don't think he took a pic Actually forgot about that daily until you mention it. Yesterday I gave a guy a 19 pound Muskie. I just rode up to him as he was fishing that lake over west of Strawberry, dropped it at his side and ran away. Didn't feel like riding to the butcher to cash it in. Was planning on just lurking the woods and try and spawn a legendary.
Head on crash on the 401 earlier.
