That's funny. All your bridles and reins are full size.
I ran into my 1st griefer in a week. He fire bombed me twice. I just waved next time and hit quit server.

Good to know about the catalogue glitch will try that tomorrow. I've been booted a few times for idleness. Not related but yesterday I was slowly cruising by a guys camp, he was there, next thing you know I get "I've been transferred to a new session due to network error. Lobby by myself. And imagine that, legendary red stripe fox appears. They really need to fix how legendaries are dolled out. I never see them because someone else has already bagged it. 1'st time in my own server, one pops up right away.Today think I experienced a hacker. Just running around hitting roadblocks and hideouts. When all of a sudden my horse shrinks. A LOT. Video below there is some involuntary movement right before it happens, I kind of turn around, then after it jumps back, looked like a lag thing. Rode it to the fast travel, went to camp to turn in my pelt to Cripps. Then shut down and restarted the game to rid myself of whatever pissant was around. Also second part of video is a perfect of example of what happens being a nice guy and helping a stranger out. Nearly killed my horse. I reloaded another session before it died completely. Couldn't revive it, or give it any medicine. My bad, was having a hard time seeing where I was going when I crashed. Good day though. Made nearly 1500 bucks. 380 from one trader run. 371 from a shine, then a few hundred here and there on a couple more shine runs. Have $2970 sitting there. Nothing to spend it on. Hackers are the main reason why I prefer gaming on a console. Much less chance of that happening. Obviously you cannot run scripts or other types of hacks like that on a console. (Side note - cracks me up when I see people making cheater accusations using scripts on a console with TGC. That doesn’t happen for the same reasons we cannot create Lidar courses on consoles. If anyone says it does, be prepared to show me actual proof that goes beyond words on a website). I have had that server switch before. I think it’s just a cleanup reset of the server I’m on presently. I do like being on a server by myself though.

Hi All Does anyone know of a setting you can adjust so the game doesn’t shut down after 5 minutes of being idle,so frustrating for online, I read about a "glitch" where you can open up the catalogue (might have to be in a certain place? camp or general store I think) if you're going to be idle and you don't get kicked. could rack up decent daily camp costs if it's a long time however. also have not tried this myself. I just tested the catalogue thing and it seemed to work. I think I was only away for about 15-20 minutes though. I’m trying it again right now for a longer period of time, like 45 min or so while my wife has an at-home physical therapy session. That’s a great find for sure. Nobody likes being kicked off a good server just bc they had to go drop a deuce

Trying the catalog trick.
I'm sittin' in the railway station - with catalog open Got a ticket to my destination On a tour of one-night stands My suitcase and guitar in hand And every stop is neatly planned For a poet and a one-man band Homeward bound I wish I was Homeward bound Home where my thought's escapin' Home where my music's playin' Home where my love lies waitin' Silently for me
I will let you know if I get kicked.
Next I am going to see what happens if I board a train and just ride it out for a while.
An hour later still sitting in the railway station....
BUT......All my cores and bars are dead empty

Went and played a few rounds of golf today to get some sort of form back for the new tournaments tomorrow. Needed to do a calibration. All I could think of was I would like to shoot and skin those deer. And "wonder if there are any 3 star ones in there"
Set up a round practice event to practice the promotional course. John and his opening speech "time to get back on our horse" Couldn't agree with him more. And thats what I'm about to do, got my 6 rounds of golf in now to go enjoy myself.

Just had a popup that said I had 13 minutes before I get kicked for idling. First time i have seen that. I am riding a train around the map so I guess I need to move every once in a while.

I envy you. I'm getting janked left and right. lol
340 dollar shine run. In the middle of it. Switched due to network error. Next pop up says "my posse has abandoned the mission." I'm still on the cart, the yellow line to indicate where to go has gone. F me. Switch servers hoping to save my load. Load into free roam, go back to my shack, I have to restart another batch. Oh well sucks but can live with it.
So I decide to clear off some of my collector maps. Have the oceanic fossils one opened. In my travels I bag a perfect moose pelt. 1'st one ever. Go on my way to fossil collect. Up in the north in the hills, metal detector out, wandering around looking for one that is getting frustrating. 20 minutes or so passes, along comes a blue dot, doing the same. No big deal right. Whammo, power flicks in the house (yeah I don't have a battery backup, never had one that ever worked so don't bother with them anymore.) Computer shuts down. Not only do I lose the pelt (haven't loaded game back up as I just got back online after router reboot) The blue dot probably got the fossil. Don't feel like the ride all the way back up there for this one. Will go do another map of something else.
All of a sudden the golf seems like more fun..joking. I much prefer this game and being rewarded for time spent.
Off to load up the game again.

The best way to do that, without spending real money, is to do as many daily challenges and story missions (yellow icons) as you can.

Finally saved up enough for a scoped (rolling rock?) rifle. Hunting/ getting materials is much more enjoyable now. Been mostly camping in the heartlands and going for whitetail deer as a perfect carcass for 7 materials is solid value for a common animal. Anyone have any other favourite spots to go hunting?

I like hunting Buffalo in Great Plains with the hunting wagon. The herd doesn’t run far (or fast) once you start shooting. Duck hunting on lake and river banks anywhere. Flight feathers help with making dynamite arrows. I *think* they also have animal fat. Also the pig pen in Heartlands at Flatrock by the train depot is an easy get. Usually 5 or 6 pigs are in there that will respawn every 5 -10 minutes. If you get the witness notification after shooting them, just shoot the witness before he reaches the law. The pig animal fat is useful for crafting and making explosive bullets. Otherwise I just shoot em as I see em

Buffalo are large, you can only skin them. Only one skin fits on a horse. If you can locate your camp in Great Plains and it’s close enough to the herd, you can throw one on your horse and carry a second back to camp. Today I decided to go a bit loco and get the lawmen pissed off. I maxed up on all of my ammo then I went to Rhodes, climbed the ladder to the roof of the bank, then shot an npc to get the law coming after me. After a witness notified them, they started coming up the ladder. I picked them off as they came. The building next door is the undertaker for Rhodes. I gave him a lot of work lol. There is a ladder to his roof too and the law thought they could get me from there. But no. More work for the undertaker. A human player showed up and came up the ladder to the bank. I held off shooting them to see if they were going to shoot first for the ever growing bounty or if they wanted in on the chaos. They wanted in. Then another human player showed up and shot the other one. Then those two started going at it in the ground while also wing shot at by the law. In the meantime, I’m still picking them off from the roof of the bank. I really wanted a chance to loot all of the bodies but the other human players wouldn’t stop shooting. I eventually whistled for my horse, jumped down from the roof and took off for my camp. But then there were about 30 lawmen chasing me on horseback lol. I made it to camp but everything was locked and the area was in a big red shaded circle. Some lawmen started showing up so I had to kill them. The camp was on a beach and I managed to swim out to a sand bar. Just past the sand bar was a row boat. I swam out to that thinking I could get clear of the red area with it but the boat was broken, half sunk lol. I made back to the beach, got my horse and finally managed to ride to safety. Paid my bounty, I think it was $19 and I paid half to half them stop hunting me down. Was fun, got intense for a bit. Lol.
