Enjoyed watching your Twitch (past) broadcast of the Port Sunlight round from week 9 Thomas. Just one question - I noticed you switched to your putter whilst on the fairways a few times & couldn't work out why? Great round & score...... Really interesting seeing how one of the "top shelf" pros plays it.

And it helps me to get an idea of how severe the sidehill lie is... sometimes at least. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Week 11 I never quite got into a rhythm but not too bad

Week Ten
I played a lot better than my overall score.I just felt I had absolutely nothing go my way. The 17th on the second course highlights that. I knew I shouldn't have been cheeky towards Bradley in the English County Thread, his bad luck in tourneys somehow landed on my game.

Week 11 I never quite got into a rhythm but not too bad Yo Jim. I had you for ghost on this one. Irregardless of the scores, your game is definitely improved. Much fewer errant shots and much better approach shots. Based on what I saw you will be moving up and out of CC very soon (that is if you want to )

I think for the 1st time playing this wonderful game i can honestly say i walked off the 18th on round 2 and felt i left absolutely nothing out there, may not be my lowest score ever but i felt it was probably the best i have ever played in a round. Finished the event bogey free as well Merry Christmas One and All

Good evening all, I hope everybody has had / is having a lovely Christmas! For me, the kids are in bed, the wife is getting acquainted with a bottle of Bombay Saphire, I have a rather pleasant Islay malt on the go, and in an effort to do anything rather than try and engage in conversation with my mother I thought I'd wrap up the results for week 8 of the RRCC, so here we are! Week 8 marks the end of our second 4-week tournament of the season and featured: La Verda Stelo - Members Edition (Rustic) by Dominique Bois The Monsoon Course at Heisenberg Flats (Desert) by Dale Burger The Sandbelt - Medium (Countryside) by Rob Wilson, venue for this week's European Tour event Results (84 players): 1. InvisibleManDan Daniel Waring (Eng, PC) -44 2. blueorfe Bradley Garcia (Eng, PS4) -41 3. JeffJeter Jeff McPhee (Can, XBox) -40 Web Player of the Week: 17. Clint Kelso Clint Kelso (USA, XBox) -30 RRCCC Top Three (Challenge Circuit players only): 43. KenTremendous Matt Comley (Eng, PC) -23 43. Dug Riddler Dug Riddler (USA, XBox) -23 51. Winky (hopefully!) Paul Winkworth (Can, PS4) -21 Daniel Waring comes along and puts his game head on to stop Bradley Garcia winning 3 in a row with a resounding 3 shot victory. Excellent scoring from all the top three, with Jeff McPhee taking his third podium of the season in third place, obviously not fooled by the firmness settings this week! The Web and Challenge Circuit sees three players take top spots for the first time this season, Clint Kelso of the Web finishes in the top 20 on the main leaderboard while Matt Comley and The Riddler both take maximum points on the RRCCC leaderboard. So all this means….. Results for the end of the Tournament (130 players): 1. blueorfe Bradley Garcia - 380 points 2. canthitstraight Jimmy Kuo - 329 3. Mark (Kram) Mark Custard - 312 Top Web Player: 30. Clint Kelso Clint Kelso - 112 RRCCC Top 3: 1. KenTremendous Matt Comley - 210 2. ABU_Bear Jim McCarthy - 128 3. Dug Riddler Dug Riddler - 127 Bradley might have missed out on the win in Week 8, but his stellar play over the last three weeks sees him take a comfortable tournament victory despite not playing in Week 5, many congratulations Brad . Good consistency from Jimmy and Mark see them take 2nd and 3rd, and keeps Jimmy at the top of the Year To Date leaderboard. The leader after Week 7 of this tournament slips down to 4th, bassman70 Albert Fargo narrowly missing out on a podium spot despite a good tournament. In the RRCCC, Matt Comley's win in Week 8 cements a convincing tournament victory, while Dug Riddler's share of the week 8 spoils sees him come from nowhere to take 3rd place, that's what double points can do! Jim McCarthy is the meat in the sandwich taking 2nd place in what turned in to a very close contest for the runners up spots with just 3 points separating 2nd to 4th, stewarty5 Charlie Stewart the unlucky one. Full results can be found here

It looks like the old dear is off to bed so I'm safe from the small talk, and my whiskey needs a top up . Thanks to everybody who played, as always. It should always be remembered that the main point of this tour is for players of ANY skill level to rock up and enjoy a few rounds on some of the brilliant courses being designed out there, without the pressures of the main tour. The leaderboards add in a little fun competition but the main thing is always to enjoy the game for what it is. I would love to see a few more Challenge Circuit players join, such a good way to learn how to play different courses and develop your game without any pressure or commitment. Come on CCers, tell your friends!
