We've gotten past the Web Finals and Summer Showdown, and, whilemI can't speak for anybody else, the itch to get back into the GNCD has hit me again.
Just checking the community vibe and see if anybody wants another crack at a crown. I have a couple of ideas for a contest, and am thinking of a deadline of Dec 25.
Just getting an idea of interest...so post here if you might be up for a new one.

I'm in Griff.. I think I could crank one out in that time.. I'm working on a beautiful Alpine and Tropical theme at the moment.

Hey Griff, what about a "revamp your course style" contest?
I think it could be a good idea, and actually might help in terms of time as a good part of the job is already done

Been slowly working on a new one. Not sure if you're going to be against previously started projects. But either way I'd consider it.

Yeah I would love to see a new contest. Im working also on a very beautifull course, but I lose interest, cause there are no contest for upcomming designers. Here are some pictures of it.   |

Completely separate from contest: It's looking nice, Errol, but you might think about making it just a tad brighter. That's right on the line of being too dark, brother. |

No it isnt dark ingame my man...trust me...before I got into the designer, I was testing this for two days to get this light ok. Ingame its brighter. |

That's what I thought about Tye Sands, but it definitely was seen as such by many folk. One thing to keep in mind is the brightness of your monitor. This can vary wildly, so I would suggest turning down the brightness a lot and see what it looks like then. Or you could load up Tye Sands and see if you agree with that being too dark... if you do then you are probably fine  |

Btw, I probably won't take part in the next contest... but would love to see one on here. Looks to me like it is very quiet for designers who are still putting in the work, a contest might be a good way to boost the activity on here a little

Btw, I probably won't take part in the next contest... but would love to see one on here. Looks to me like it is very quiet for designers who are still putting in the work, a contest might be a good way to boost the activity on here a little Yeah...that is what I was thinking. Activity seems to be wayyyyy down as of late. |

Could also be the effect of 3 consecutive competition where the last one involved a huge number of designers. That together with finals and Ryder cup.
Either way I might be interested as usual

Right now I am trying to focus on another non TGC project (trying to make my own game)... but I am yet to build a course on my new PC so if the contest is right, I could be tempted for sure |
