Keep up the good work Chris. For some designers this is the only chance they may get for exposure and once I get my course done in 3 years I hope you pick it for such events as this. Not sure what was "tricked up" but I am sure I will find out in the next few days when I do I trial run for -20 under....then wet the bed when it counts for even par.

Hey Chris @loughrey, I fully understand you, and somehow think I'd do the same. But you have a core of fans (I'm the president of your fan club) and I'd miss hugely if you stepped away.
But I get your point, and getting criticism for something you do for free is very frustrating

Keep up the good work Chris, if it wasn't for you and your colleagues, none of this would be possible. Everyone has courses they don't like and don't suit there game, that's golf.

These 2 courses are great. They should adopt these kind of course more often in CC. I know we had a good moan about this weeks course ie with pin positions, but these courses are very technical and thats all it takes. I think this is a solid score, there were a few missed opportunities out there, but should give my partner a great shout. Over to you Santapaula my friend. #GOTEAMEUROPE

Only people who organise tournaments understand how difficult it is to select courses. I think both of these courses are excellent and they are not tricked up. You only have to play them once, and I will never understand why people can't just shut up and play. I have been getting a lot of criticism lately and it is making me wonder why I even bother. I am seriously considering pulling the plug on this tournament and stepping away from the forums altogether. Just too add what others have said, we really appreciate all the work you do. I can understand your frustration when you have to chase after people to play, they agree and then vanish. It would make my blood boil and form my selfish point of view spoils the tournament. Then you get complaints about the course! That's on every CC tournament too to be honest and usually the same people. I love the Ryder cup completions, playing the good old USA and having a bit of good natured banter. Just remember those of us not moaning are loving it, but it's the way of the world I am afraid, every game forum full of moaners dragging it down. Can understand if you think enough is enough though, but hope you keep going. Now let me go beat some Americans up! Bill Just to add to the deserved love in for @loughrey ... A Loughrey tournament is a guaranteed well organised, good natured and very enjoyable event. Never listen to the moaners as they represent 1% of the silent majority. The courses you choose are never dull and I for one would miss your massive input to this community. If you need, I can do an American accent and *looks at leaderboard* play badly if you need a spare plastic yank?

Tricked up course round 1...I hate it...you get punnished for good approach shots...no fun whatsoever. Wags? Is it really you?

Chris, as a relatively new player I appreciate what you do. I get more game experience to help with the tours. Course are tough at times but we have to have different difficulty levels. It gets boring playing same types of courses. Funny thing is all the drama over Tye Dunes and while I thought some pins were tough I just figured everyone was in the same boat and it was a good challenge. Anyway. Thanks again for the hard work.
