Hey Loughrey do you think it may help if a person from each side were to volunteer to be a Captain for the team and it became their responsibility to make sure that people played their rounds? One less thing for you to do. If you have a pool of folks who want to play then the captain could contact one if a player can't finish or show up for a round. Just a thought. Really hate to see this thing go away. Can I get a hell yea for all that want to see this thing thru!!! Hell yea OK, guys, look.... Sept 16, 2016 11:51:04 GMT -5 Irving R. Levine said: Loughrey, I tried to get my games in before I had to leave town. In our match, I'm 8 strokes behind with 7 holes to play, so there's no way I can make that up. We'd lose anyway, so give it to our opponents. So when Loughrey says I didn't play and didn't post a score, he's lying. That post shows A) that I played; B) the score (8 strokes behind means since they were -16 overall, our team was -8) and that I was conceding the match with 7 holes to go. So this "don't give him a rough time" stuff is really out of place because he was not only openly wrong he was completely unrepentant about it. I don't take guys to task without a good reason. I don't appreciate after going out of my way at a time when frankly, this game meant nothing at all, to honor playing in his tournament as best I could his lying about me and then refusing to admit he was wrong. I had no issue with him until his response today and if you listen to multiple podcasts you'll hear me championing him. Which makes even less sense why he'd s*** on me the way he did claiming I didn't play or report a score when you can clearly see that's not true.

Bud, I wasn't intending to call you out. Was just trying to show support for you and @loughrey. It seems like it was all the result of a misunderstanding. When @loughrey is doing the weekly equivalent of herding cats amongst all his commitments, I'm sure it's hard to maintain his patience.
Let's just keep celebrating the USA resurgence this round.

Whether it's called a DNP, DNF, forfiet, or a long note beside the score stating the consession...does it really matter? Is it that important to let everyone know (again) you tried to play when like everyone else...we seen the post in begin with? Nobody seemed to care or complain about it 2 weeks ago. Stuff happens but the end result regardless of how you want to explain it is the round was not completed so no official score was registered. To go ape sh%$ over the terminology and it getting to THIS is absurd. Chris has gotten plenty of unnecessary flack for tourney setups and what not from a few people who seem to think bad rounds equal tricked up greens, fairways, balls or whatever excuse they want to use. Have fun...suck less. Your post was just bad timing and I don't believe any disrespect was initially intended by either of you. I hope you seek or find the tools to get things back on track in your personal life.
I too don't want this thing flushed because of a stupid misunderstanding and hope cooler heads prevail.

I will not be called a liar by someone who never posted their scores and still wanted credit for having played. It is utter madness. I am sorry to all those who were enjoying the tournament, but I have had enough of idiots like this.
