Only people who organise tournaments understand how difficult it is to select courses. I think both of these courses are excellent and they are not tricked up. You only have to play them once, and I will never understand why people can't just shut up and play. I have been getting a lot of criticism lately and it is making me wonder why I even bother. I am seriously considering pulling the plug on this tournament and stepping away from the forums altogether.

I'm relatively new to this game / forum and although I don't really know you I for one am truly thankful for the work you put into this and other comps. Personally speaking I am really enjoying being part of this Ryder cup. I can imagine selecting courses to try and please everyone being a nightmare. Personally I don't care what courses I play and whether I can play them well or not. For me it's all about the competition, bragging rights and banter that accompany it. Maybe people need to be reminded of that.

I can understand your frustration when you have to chase after people to play, they agree and then vanish. It would make my blood boil and form my selfish point of view spoils the tournament. Then you get complaints about the course! That's on every CC tournament too to be honest and usually the same people. I love the Ryder cup completions, playing the good old USA and having a bit of good natured banter. Just remember those of us not moaning are loving it, but it's the way of the world I am afraid, every game forum full of moaners dragging it down. Can understand if you think enough is enough though, but hope you keep going. Now let me go beat some Americans up! Bill

Hugs Chris. Don't get down. You know you are really doing a great service to the community with these events. And certainly it is respected that it is a lot of work and time.
Besides, me and my Ryder Cup partner LET you and yours Destroy us in week 1. If that's not love I don't know what is. !!!
