Well, getting back to my results and to what Scott responded (thanks Scott) I'm barely able to hang with the Web guys, given my track record. So again, I have to wonder just how accurate a reflection on tier placement Q School is. Based on how I am performing on Web, I don't see myself making more than maybe one cut once in a blue moon.
Regardless, if 46 under is good enough to hang with the pros, then I should be able to make exemption to the PGA and I haven't even come close. I mean I'm talking not even in the same ball park.
Season 3 is going to be a very interesting and potentially exciting one for me. For one thing, I don't even know if I'm going to be starting in Web or CC. And if in CC, how long to make it back up? If in Web, while I'm confident I'll earn enough to stay there, moving up to PGA seems like an impossibility right now.
So yeah, the coming season is going to be one that may even be more exciting than the one that's about to end.
Looking forward to it.

So 18 players went right into PGA and another 21 into Web. I'd say those numbers are quite significant.

C'mon wagtunes, I know you'll defend your crusade to the end but even Jerry knows 18 out of 900 isn't "quite significant".
But I'm bowing out of this one. Wish you good luck on the season end tourney. I'm slowly climbing the ranks so hopefully I'll meet up with you in the Web someday....or maybe you'll join me in the CC'S...
Cheers

I like the concept of this idea, and here are my reasons why...
I bought TGC, because I wanted something that the Tiger Woods franchise didn't give me, and that was a golf simulation of the real game. I practised many hours on this game before entering Q-School, and then worked my way up to the Euro Tour. But now, I seem to have lost my way. I don't seem to be playing as well now as I was. Adjustments I was making for the various elements in the game don't seem to be working like they used to. Wether thats due to some tweaking going on behind the scenes, I don't know. All I know is, is that I'm not enjoying the Euro Tour right now. My be its the unrealistic fast greens that I don't enjoy playing on, as the game is not a simulation anymore, its more like a game of crazy golf. I've been playing golf since the early 70's, and have played on a few championship courses, but never have I played on a course where you have to land the ball 10 yards short of the green, in order to get the ball to stay on it. I am a traditionalist at heart and thats the way I like to play the game. Before I moved up to the Euro tour, I enjoyed every round of golf I played, but now I can't be bothered playing the tournaments anymore, because I know I won't enjoy the greens. I feel I'm at a massive disadvantage with the guys at the top, as I can't get anywhere near them. I appreciate that you have to have some diversity in the game. And I can put up with the occasional tour with lightning greens. But its not occasionally, its every week.
Being able to re-enter Q-School would allow players who are struggling, or not enjoying the tour they are in to reassess their game. If they play well enough and end up staying in their Tour, then fair enough. But it also might give them the opportunity of moving back into a group where they can become more competitive.

In your case you can actually request a demotion, so I don't think that'll be a problem. It's in the rules.

But I don't particularly want to move backwards unless it's justified. Playing Q School again can show wether you are good enough to stay in your group, or prove that you need to move down. I read the forum every week , especially the Euro Tour thread, and there are a lot of disgruntled players out there complaining about unrealistic greens. But it just seems biased towards the guys at the top who seem to relish in these conditions. I don't, because you wouldn't find a golf course anywhere in world like these in real life. Professionals golfers wouldn't go anywhere near them. I just think they should mix it up a bit, give all the players a chance.

Has to be this way because tee to green is too easy. When TGC 2 comes out and they fix that, you'll see more realistic conditions. Until then, it's not going to happen.

Or you could just retire the wagtunes name, create a new alter ego account with a new name and identity and start over again in Q-School. Actually, now that I think about it it's kind of surprising that no one has tried something like that before.
I'm going to get punished in some way for even suggesting this, aren't I?

Nobody would know it was me and it would kill me. If I'm gonna act like an ass and/or a drama queen, you damn better well believe that I want everybody to know it's me. Because it's all about me, me, me.
