Sorry guys a born and bred Chelsea fan here, I totally agree with all the sentiments posted though, I have no affiliation with my team. I used to see the players out and about (Andy Townsend was my ex girlfriends neighbour) it's different world now. I haven't been to a game in 20 odd years £100 day out to see them, I can barely afford sky. Even my local non league team is asking £20 a ticket. I do envy my mates that are QPR fans they have cheap tickets, a family club that supporters are an integral part of it.

We've played you in the league a lot more recently than than dh-nufc, I remember a 2-2 draw at Ashton Gate not so long ago. I remember that 5-0 game though, I think that was just before you signed Andy Cole from us. Did we? Was it not in the cup? I'm probably mistaken. Yeah 5 0 was a few months before we signed him.

Newcastle signing very well. Good luck on the bounceback Deano.

Newcastle and us(Norwich) on paper should be top 2 comfortably. Newcastle have signed well and we are full of players too good for Champ but not quite good enough for Prem
Unfortuantly though the Championship is not played out on paper! Personally anything outside Top 4 would be a bit disappointing but if offered 5th or 6th now i think I'd take it. We bounced straight back 2 years ago and predominantly that same team is still here now.
Glad we didn't get Mccormack. 14m for a near 30 year old who's never scored in the Prem is excessive and a gamble imo.
Newcastle Norwich should be top 2 but would I be surprised if both us and Newcastle don't go up? Not really as that's what the Championship is like!
Bristol City you have got a great signing in Gary O Neil. The general consensus from Norwich fans is we would rather keep him as he is exactly what is needed for a championship battle.
In the last 13 seasons we have had 8 promotion or relegations which is more than any other team in Europe in that time period so we know how to get it done, it's just going out there and doing it
03/04 - Champ (Promoted) 04/05 - Prem (Relegated) 05/06 - Champ 06/07 - Champ 07/08 - Champ 08/09 - Champ (Relegated) 09/10 - League 1 (Promoted) 10/11 - Champ (Promoted) 11/12 - Prem 12/13 - Prem 13/14 - Prem (Relegated) 14/15 - Champ (Promoted) 15/16 - Prem (Relegated) 16/17 - Champ (Promoted???)
At least we are always entertained unlike the scum down the road who have sat in the Championship for the last 14 years lol

Well we've got the Championship well represented with Newcastle, Norwich, Barnsley and City. I was delighted with the O'Neill signing, even more so than Tomlin. Also one of the Iceland defenders signed from Juventus, Little Lee has done good! Only question now is can we fend off Villa and keep Kodjia.... And dh-nufc, it was about 4 seasons ago, we drew 2-2 at the Gate and 0-0 at your place. We haven't always been in the bottom two tiers you know!

It's surprising because we won most games that year. Can't wait for tomorrow to kick the whole thing off.

No problem Dean, Barcelona is a great team and I admire a lot of the things they do. But real Madrid is my choice

Yeah, Take pogba, i think real Madrid midfield is well covered with Kroos, modric, james, Isco, Casemiro and a few young guys like asensio.

Pogba is so over-rated. Give me Kante over him anytime. Oh wait :-(
Ah well, give me Drinkwater over him anytime.

Can't say I agree with the Pogba/Mourinho over-rated comments, but lets see how the season plays out!
Personally I would be happy if we're at least fighting for the title this year until the very end. If we don't end up winning it but finish 2nd I'll be happy with the major progress we've at least made.

When he was in Madrid Mourinho proved to be very good at finishing second, so you might be satisfied in that...
