Well if you guys have had a good enough look at swagtunes tips (I'm startin callin him that as he's so confident right now ) you'd have seen that he actually gave away pretty usefull tips about rollout too. This to me is pretty accurate for starters ; then you'll have to find yourselves how every club behave accordingly to wind speed, slopes on the green and de-loft applied. This tips are exactly how far I would personally give away on the forums - cause there's an impressive amount of "work" behind them, whether you believe it or not Thanks Andrea. I do hope I made it clear in my post that this is really basic stuff and like I said, won't take anybody to the PGA. But it served me well enough to get me to where I am and I'm content with that. And like some have said, this isn't for everybody. Lots of people like to play by feel, and that's great. Whatever makes each one enjoy this amazing game. Now I gotta go practice Boston some more so I don't embarrass myself out there this week. Boston isn't that tough at all. Just played round 1 of the Web tourney and shot -8 and played poorly. You'll do fine

Just played round 1 of the Web tourney and shot -8 and played poorly. You'll do fine Round 2 is the one you have to watch out for. Two holes have the pins next to a bad slope that feeds back down to the fairway. Getting back up and sticking the green is tough because it's like a 3 foot incline. I tried twice and failed. Finally I figured that I had to chip it up in spite of the distance. Double bogie'd the one hole and bogie'd the other. Finished 5 under for round 2 in practice. Otherwise, each round was 8 or better. So watch out for those two holes and you'll be fine if you're planning on playing the Web tour out.

He streams TGC every day, won twice on Euro, is about to win this week. Don't want to big him up too much, so I'll say he's a !%$#, but well worth tuning in to his streams. I played him in matchplays fairly regularly, helped my game immensely as I was in Web when I first tuned in.

I was surprised to hear he was winning this week with The Machine there and then I see Ian is playing PGA this week. What's up with that? I didn't know you could bounce between tiers like that.

When you have your "pro card" you can play both PGA or Euro events (once per week of course). The only difference will be that your money or fedex/ryder cup points will add to the PGA or Euro leaderboards accordingly. And that will make the difference when season's end with playoffs and whatnot I second Chris on anything else - granted that bugsy is a master class of the Willis's school for cheating !%$#, is actually a great player

Any chance someone (like Ian maybe - LOL) would like to do a video or guide on putting? I do not have a system, going all by feel. And I do not move the markers on downhill putts because that tends to confuse me. I would say I am an average putter. But could be better for sure. But for all the charts, side winds, slopes, and other tips and tricks, the putting is definitely the difference between CC-B to Web and Pro...
I am just kidding of course. In fact, I learned most of the tips by playing rather than the guides and charts. However, I did learn the elevation adjustment and the "clicks" method based on posts in this forum over the last 60 or so days (I haven't been around long - only been playing this game since some time in January - found the site in April). So for those that have figured out how to master this game and the math through trial and error, and have become elite players, I would not blame them a bit for not wanting to share what they have learned the hard way.
I can just imagine some of the real world greats in PGA going over the next shot with another player in their grouping telling them the best place to aim or how to attack the next hole. That happens...right? I mean I know its only a video game and all...but we are here because we all want to compete...

A top tip, learnt from seamount, is always always check the putt at feet level. Go backwards and forwards, study it. You'll make many more once you get used to reading fake break etc

You'll make many more once you get used to reading fake break etc Problem is, when I do that, it's all mush to me. See, I have no depth perception because I only see with one eye. So I can't read breaks. If it wasn't for the beads going from right to left or whatever, I'd have no chance at this game. It's why I ultimately gave up on TST because all the greens look flat to me.

Yeah if you have a vision problem it will be very tough, sorry to hear that wags.
