It's the Russians starting it attacking for no reason mixed with shoddy policing from the French mixed with some stupid English wanting revenge as far as I can tell. At least the Welsh and English are sticking together throughout the ordeal.

France ground it out. They look a good side going forward.
Payet and Kante are terrific. The French crowd got on Martial's back a bit first half and the confidence seemed to drain from him. A stupid thing to do to an excellent young player.

Yea, Last gasp France again.. They deserved it though. Payet stood out head n shoulders above everybody else..Class operator! Albania were resilient to make a fight of it but the French dominance finally took its toll. Having predicted a 2-2 draw Romania & Switzerland & 3-0 to France I'll take the 20 points having scored 0 with Russia v Slovakia. Had predicted a 1-1 draw there.. Big game tomoro at 2.. Should be a fiesty game.. As a neutral, lookin forward to it..

Thought I had 2 correct scores, but I had put down 3-0 France not 2-0  . Still 1-1 in the earlier game was a good shout |

Why on earth are there English fans in lille? England's game is 40kilomiters away in Lens... Because they aren't England fans. They are just english people who will go wherever the fight is. Ditto the Russians. None of them are there for football |

New riots and fights between Russian and English "supporters". Don't know who started it yet, but riot police with tear gas has been used again. I'll ask the question even though nothing of guilt is confirmed. Why on earth are there English fans in lille? England's game is 40kilomiters away in Lens... Because they were told to book up in hotels in Lille. Lens is a small town/city so they were advised to stay in Lille. It kind of annoys me how the English fans are portrait in the media. There were a lot of English football hooligans around in the 80's and 90's but that's pretty much disappeared now, but because of how fans were 20-30 years ago every large group of English fans gathering must now be a bunch of hooligans? I've seen the videos from last night and all I seen was a large group of fans (not just English) standing around and singing. There was no violence, local businesses weren't being smashed up, nothing. The problem is French police clearly can't handle large groups of football fans so they tear gas and charge them to get rid of them. Sky Sports News over here in England interviewed several fans shortly afterwards and they were saying exactly that as well. I can guarantee that you'd feel safer going to an English Premiership game than 90% of the top leagues in other European countries. There is never any crowd trouble and no violence. In other countries they still have cages around their fans, and they still have problems with violence and racism. The English fans aren't the problem here, the Russian hooligans and useless French police are. On another note, I'm hoping for a comfortable 2 - 0 victory against Gareth Bale today. Took the day off work to watch it. |

I give up with Hodgson - at the very least Sterling had to be dropped.
Wales could win this - we leave too much talent on the bench.

If that last line isn't a biased comment, I don't know what it is  As re England's bench, I'm a fan of Barkley, think he'd progress further as a talent under the right manager (A Portuguese one perhaps ) he's a great dribbler Barkley but his final ball is lacking at times...Rashford should be given a chance at some stage v Wales, so too Vardy.. Clyne is probably a better defender than Walker but Walker offers more threat goin forward I'd say.. Interesting game ahead... May the best team win  |

Wales fortunate to be in front at HT. Anyone would think Louis Van Gaal was behind the England approach for the last 3 halfs of football.. What good is mass amounts of possession when u don't use it to your advantage.. Sterling certainly should have scored.. Bale struck the ball well for the goal but Hart should have done better really. Interesting 2nd half ahead..
