Okay, here is my issue, shaping of the fairway, I just cannot make it looks as nice and natural as you guys..
Can someone do a tutorial on how to create realistic fairways? (Not meaning flattening the edges, etc, I can do that)
Basically, show different brushes and how to make realistic shapes. I tend to use multiple brushes in the same fairway and maybe that is why I cannot get it to look as good as the nicer courses.
Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Thanks for the video! Learned some new things! Also didn't know how to fix the landscape error when it takes away some fairway, so thanks a ton for that one!

Thanks for those very interesting and instructive videos on course design. I watched both as well as the one on bunkers. I play, but so far haven't really gotten into design although when I first purchased the game I published a couple of courses I wish I could take back. However my appetite has been whetted so that I would like to learn more. I think design would be a nice change of pace and is like building models without all the glue.

no they are down. But there are a few others that are good. Scampi has a nice series for new designers same as Canuck. Griff twitch's pretty much regularly course design and he is very straight forward and easy to follow. Also if you hop on Griffs stream he'll answer questions and show you how to do certain things if asked. I know Taste also has vids as well from time to time. But he is on the beta and hasn't been streaming much, however you can hit up HB studios and look for his Wip from the invecta challenge as he youtubed a ton of that. I also do some streaming as well, usually with sound off because of my kids. But anyone of us can get you started.

I have seemed to figure out how to maneuver my way around the designer fairly well,I just haven't had the time to really design quite yet.I'm going to be putting more effort into getting something published soon and would love some feedback. I'll put it on the new course design thread when finished. I kinda just wanted to sponge some ideas off of different designers, sounds kinda bad but I am interested in how designers do their work as everyone is different. Thanks for the info though, much appreciated.
