Thanks for taking the time out to do these vids Taste...
I've been working like this since around the start of November but it was nice to learn how you do your tee boxes.
Now we have a reference we can link beginners & intermediates to. __________________________________________________________________________________________
*Good luck with your creation Danny (iChaoz) .. looks good so far.
Cheers all,
Sam (SMorris).

i have restarted everything as the fairways on different holes looked drastically different. what i mean is the edging of the fairways.
i couldn't allow this and have set out to use the smaller fairway shapes so everything fits in together.

dont worry about how it looks from overhead, all that matters is how it looks and plays from the golfers vantage point.

take a break from the planting, and just put that to the side, concentrate on the course shape and layout, and the quality of the play. once you have that down good, and all 18 holes are in, then go back in and tinker with some planting.

im struggling a little bit with planting. Oh my me too. The more the autogen can do for me here is the better, I have never failed yet to fck up a pretty good look by adding my own grass and plants. Trees and bushes I can do Ok with, it's everything else I struggle with.
That I would imagine coming in an advanced tutorial, hint hint tastegw.

taste, i have put light rough around all my bunkers but the amount i think is too much but when looking at pics of your pekerwood course i noticed you don't putt it around greenside bunkers and only a bit around fairway ones.

finally have a good enough start to my course. struggled to start because i just couldn't get it looking right but finally i have it where i want it.
Hole 1 - 343 yards (fairway done except sculpting, bunkers done, green done with breaks) Hole 2 - 522 yards (fairway done except sculpting, bunkers in progress, green not yet complete)
actually happy at the look so far. the aim is is to make a low score around this course when completed.

They will be releasing a new planting brush in the upcoming patch where you can plant multiple objects at a time. Patch will release around Christmas.

This will help me a lot but I won't rely on it entirely.

a couple of little details, tips, hints ... course eye-candy (sorry about the sound quality - but, it may be a blessing that you can't hear me) And yet a longer possibly boring video ... if these are not helpful to anyone, I can stop.
