i love short par 4's and want a course where you can make birdie every hole. the speed's of the greens will be fast but not like ice. i tend to putt best on faster greens.

Couple of great vids there Taste even though i don't use the GNCD these will help alot of people. Also give us better courses to play so win win,Chaos from those screens it looks like you're getting the hang of it.Just take you're time and don't rush to get it published.

for the 4th hole ive decided to go with a short par 4 and when i mean short i mean 277 yards. its downhill and a very easy hole with aces possible. 3 wood with the 1mph wind gave me a 32ft for eagle as a test. pin placement is taking a while as i can't make my mind up where i want it.

Thanks for the vids Taste, thats pretty much how I created my last course and it looks a load better than the auto gen: I do need to work on getting my greenside bunkers a bit smoother and ironing out jagged edges, the new course I'm making does seem smoother though. Do you guys have issues on PC or Xbox with Boreal theme constantly crashing? PS4 we have to save every 5 mins or less. Lets hope the Countryside theme fixes that issue. The course those pics are from is Ascutney Country Club if anyone is bored and wants a round. Some of the greens are small, but thats the only thing I hate about the course designer is you only test in 1mph wind so it seems easy to hit small greens until you publish and its 10mph and realise its too tough. Thanks again Taste and nice looking holes so far Chaoz.

thanks i need to improve some of the bunkers as they dont seem right to me in places. also my terrain sculpting (which is my weakest point) my whole aim for the course will be birdies birdie birdies. it will be designed for low scoring which is what I've always loved to do. don't get me wrong, i like a good challenge but having a birdie train going is so much fun for me and a lot of people.

ive fallen in love with the course designer! Say "Goodbye" to hours of your life. Figured for my new project I'd make a course for the Champions Tour players with wider fairways and larger greens than I normally create and have slow greens with low firmness so they can attack pins. 4 holes made so far over the last week, seems to take around 4-5 hours per hole. Hope to have it finished by Christmas.

may have to start my project again as there is something just not right about the look of everything.
hole 1 and 3 use the longer fairway shapes and hole 4 and 5 uses the much shorter shapes. it doesn't look right using both styles and when viewed overhead it looks horrible to me.
i may just use shorter fairway pieces if i start a new project.
