2nd round the putter wasn't as hot.
Front 9 was -2 but had a bogie. The back 9 was going slow but a flurry put me up to -6 where I ended.

Lol after reading that it was windy, and how badly i choked last week, i had no hopes for this but after a -2 practice, i actually birdied the first 3 then landed in the rough with a bad tee shot and scrambled a bogey 5 to go to -2. 3 straight pars from inside 20 ft followed then birdied 8 and 9 to go out in -4. I couldnt handle the wind and the bounce was bad in a few and parred easily the next 6 holes. Drove straight then 2nd over bunker left me 99 to flag on par 5 so i went with 95 yd club and bounced perfect and stuck it 1 ft from the hole for tap in and -5. landed in semi off drive then got it onto green but abit out and actually drained it in the side of the cup to go -6. On 18 i wasnt going near the tree at the green so left myself 2 putts for par and made it for an awesome score for me, a 64 and 2 off the lead. Then i saw the second round scores and now im 9 off the lead, and 5 off top 5

Oh well, 2nd round was a nightmare and i was close to walking off the course and putting the game away for good. anything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I even went into the water on 16 and holed out for par, managed to birdie 17 to get a nasty 75. so 2 off the lead in round 1 to 14 off the lead in rnd 2. need minor miracle now to do good. Good luck to those playing good.

After two rounds I am in a good position to stay in CC-A, will it stay that way? Well that depends on the next two rounds. Steady play has to be the name of the game which is easier said than done, there is normally one round that does not go as planned, if I can avoid that this week, I have every chance. Round three started with par, like round two, there was a half chance of birdie but again I missed it. A great approach shot on the second left me with a fourteen foot eagle putt, there was a lot of left to right break but I decided to not over think it, I picked my line and quickly took my shot. I have to admit, I left out a little shout as the ball found the centre of the cup. My approach on the third was as different as could be from the previous, off line and hitting the branches of a tree to drop short. I made par though so no early disaster. Hole four was playing long because of a headwind, a three wood was needed to make the green, happy to take par and move on. Like earlier rounds, the wind was making it difficult to be accurate, I finally picked up my first birdie on the sixth and it was a relief, getting a early eagle was great but I had to pick up some birdies along the way as well. A seventeen foot birdie brought my score to four under on the seventh, unlike my eagle putt, this time a spent a lot of time over the putt, it had a slight double break and thankfully I picked the right line. My third birdie quickly followed when a good approach left me four feet from the cup. I could not make it four in a row as a tricky birdie putt on nine just slipped by. A very good front nine, just need to stay calm on the back and try pick up a shot here and there.
There was a birdie chance on ten which I missed, not disappointed though, it was a tough hole into the wind. I was starting to miss putts now though and that was worrying, they were medium putts but make able ones. It was not until the thirteenth before I took a birdie chance, a shorter putt this time, one I think I badly needed. Dropping a shot on fifteen made life that little bit harder for myself, it was down to poor putting, two bad putts and bogey follows. It was a relief to see a tail wind on the very long sixteen, it did make pulling that shot back a lot easier, six under with two to play. I hit the flag on seventeen, the shot looked good as soon as it left my club, I thought for a second it was going to drop in the hole, but I will take a one foot birdie putt any day of the week. Another one foot birdie putt on the last meant I finished strongly and at eight under my best round so far.
It was a solid third round, I responded well to my dropped shot with three birdies in a row. Like my first two rounds, I felt the score reflected how I played, some good golf, some bad which all evened itself out in the end. One to go and it's still looking good so far.

A frustrating 3rd and 4th round for me. I didn't leave many birdies chances on the 3rd round, collected a bogie and my putting was poor. -4 I finished with. The final round was better, but again a bogey after putting 11 foot past the hole Finished on -6 with a total of -24. A good course, but I felt I left at least 4 or 5 shots out there.

The wind is making the course play tougher than it is, which kind of suits the idea of a challenge circuit major. I will be first to admit I have had some luck along the way, especially in round 2 when i got away with par a couple of times. But I have been playing steadily which is the big difference from my previous stint in cc-a when I would shoot 59 one round and 80 the next. It had been a while since I held a cc-a card, and the time in cc-b has done me good, just need to keep my nerve for the last round, nothing silly and I should be ok. I have been playing a lot of match play lately, losing mainly but watching players from higher tiers is a good learning lesson.

lol hmammoth, the money list in cc-b is closer than in cc-a, so they must all be doing good down there and ive seen loads come up and pass through in my short time in cc-a. my problem is that i havent yet had 4 consistent rounds and i know i can score well but as you said about yourself, you score a good round and a bad one follows, thats been my career on tgctours so far only scored -31 in total in a tourny and 34th in an event, i just wsh i could play 4 rounds better than -6 each in a tourny. With your rounds you will do well. at the mo your tied 4th, well done, hope you do it and get to web

I'll be happy to just get my cc-a card, a exemption would just be a bonus. The web seems a scary place, and some of those players there, very sneaky devious people. I still blame them for me being demoted to cc- b. They will deny it but I am sure there was equipment tampering going on. They pick on me all the time during so called friendly matches, they mock my accent, my clothes, and that's even before we play. But I shall have my revenge, tonight I play one of them for top spot on the ps4 match play ladder.

You should join the later if on ps4, it's good fun. Sadly I failed to take top position, I had a 8 foot putt to win on the last but as I was taking my shot Kenny screamed watch out a snake, and I missed. Like I said, they can't be trusted.

I might lol, it sounds fun but at the mo my golf game has a ? over it lol. shot a 75 on the last round with many underhits, pulls and bad putts. I had hoped that i could finsh middle of the field and would have been happy with that but sadly my game is at about 20% at the mo. 4 bad tournys in a row (including this that i will most likely fail to make top 50) and my confidence is shot. Ive shot 59 twice this season so know i can Lol think i need to get drunk when i play the next tourny, might help lol, less thinking about the shots.
