Week 24: Dovetail Park (Winter)

Welcome to Week 24 of the Speed Golf.

Merry Christmas! This week we will be playing Dovetail Park, by SAM . We feared that this course might not be able to play this course because of the wintery conditions, but speed golf team are a hardy bunch, so we get to play this course in the snow! (Yes, we're playing the Winter theme version)

I suppose I'm going to have to give this a whirl - would be rude not to after my course is hosting?
I've never played the speed golf tour..... mainly because I'm not particularly good at the normal game (CC-A flight).
But, let's see if home advantage can at least see me finish in a respectful position - ie. my goal is not to finish last!!
I'll challenge a couple of virgin speed buddies that I play with regularly too.
Won't be playing turn based though.... ho! ho! ho!
If anyone's Twitching their round - I'd love to watch!!?

Yay! A windy round! I'm happy this wasn't real because it would've been damn cold!

Playing on my parents larger tv makes it far more satisfying... I held my own in the wind.

I just played the top one, -5 on PS4. felt like i held my own even with the high winds. I did't look at my time but I'm assuming it will be middle of the pack. I felt like this was a great course for speed golf. Very enjoyable.

-7 in 17:45, I just went out and played. I must say I don't like the the courses covered in white - like several of Escobar's planes had a mid air collision and have exploded over the course. This one was just right, I also prefer the yellow ball to putt with, on a green, green. Not the white green, with a yellow ball. I hope I haven't confused anyone, especially if you've smoking Strawberry Cheescake

I'm considering a slight adjustment to the rules. Currently every stroke you make adds 20 seconds to your time.
I'm thinking about upping this by a few seconds. This would result in your score becoming a little bit more important, so you might give yourself that extra second of thinking to try and shave off an extra stroke. Shouldn't think too long though, it is speed golf after all!

Let me know what you guys think, I'll announce it in the thread if I decide to change it.
