It will happen... certain people will always abuse the system to their personal advantage (e.g. using tools to ensure straight swings). This is sad but true I've only missed one tourney and that was the first TST and don't plan to start now even when I feel like rage quitting but it would help if say I went on holiday and forgot to sign up

We have and will continue to monitor those that abuse our system. I will be keeping up and and monitoring those that are signing up "late". This feature is to protect those that honestly forget and new Q-School members who finish Q-School in the middle of a week and want to immediately start playing.
We expect you to register and signup for a tournament as you normally do before the tournament begins -- if we see you constantly missing deadlines and signing up late, then you will be flagged.
Also -- I'll be tightening this up today to NOT allow crossover registration late. If you register late, it will have to be for your tour that you own a card for.
Thanks! Tim

I was thinking about the crossover implications as well... opens up a potential can of worms. Yes, the system will not let you register for crossover events late.

Three questions.
1) Are the max field sizes in the Pro Tours in effect? The late registrations could trickle to them.
2) If there is a max field size put into place, will the ability to late register be disabled if the max field size is hit? Or is there an "Alternate" category for those above the max field in case someone withdraws (or maybe even DNPs or WDs)?!?
3) If someone registered early on a crossover, can they withdraw, and then sign up for their regular (home tour?)

When I went to go register it is still blank. Am I missing something? This is for TST tour.

Tim Awesome job - this benefits all us players and you guys that run the site as well. I had some mix ups with registration this week and the response was always quick, but I feel bad about having to ask you to take yet more time to do admin stuff just to let me play. It might get abused by a small group of chuckle-heads but the benefits far outweigh that potential (for me at least). Thanks again! Next thing you need to fix is my putting. Can you guys please make that a priority next?

What's the actual impact of people having a bad one and not registering? You just end up with a smaller player field don't you? How can it be exploited?

This is awesome! I travel a lot for work, and sometimes don't find out if and where I'm going until late in the week or weekend. This will be awesome for when I find out that I get to stay at home and actually use my XB1.
Thanks guys!!
