Well it's done. Disappointed with my last round as the opportunity was there to post a better score but finished -35 for this one with -10, -10, -10 and -5. Will start hoping that will be good enough for a web card but might rue that last round!! Good luck to all participants, specially to my playing buddies in CC. Play well chaps. ⛳️

Oops. I've just realised I hadn't submitted my name for the CC Championship event prior to completing my rounds. Panic email sent to commish hoping I can still participate and post score as above. :-(

I also ended up finishing at -35 for the tournament. Looks like there's going to be a lot of folks hanging around sub -30. I guess we'll see how many cards they actually have for us.
Might be some close calls.

Fingers crossed for the Web Card. I played with your ghost on all 4 rounds. I had the better of you on the front 9 but you played some awesome shots to the green on the back 9. I couldn't get near you. On the final round I was setting up to play my 2nd shot, think it was the 5th hole and you holed out for eagle. I smiled to myself and thought.... 'Typical Kenny'. I then played my shot and hit the pin for a tap in birdie. I missed some puts on the last 2 rounds that I really should have holed. Nerves got the better of me I think. Really enjoyed this tournament and although I couldn't match your score I'm really pleased with mine. 63, 62 ,64, 65 (-34) All the best to everyone playing this week.

Bit busy so haven't had a chance to send out a formal info email - but just a couple of notes
Everything is still turned on as per normal. You can earn demotion strikes this week. We will just be taking all the flights and putting them on one master leaderboard to determine who gets Web.com Tour cards - all flights are eligible. CC Points etc will still take into account which flight you are on.
100 Web.com Tour cards up for grabs - go out and get one!

I'm on Sponsors Exemption in CC-D for this one...blew my chance to go from CC-Z to CC-D in 3 weeks though. Don't think my score will keep me in D. Bad time for the putter to go cold. Couldn't believe the amount of 1 foot putts I had for par over the 4 rounds. I think 20 would be a good estimate.

Great shooting aswell Chris well done mate. Yeah I said to Dan last night I seemed to score better on the back 9!! Don't know why but it just seemed to happen that way. I missed a few easy putts on last round (one birdie putt led to a bogie!!) but thru all 4 rounds I can't complain as scores generally reflect true to what is deserved. Yeah here's hoping we can obtain a web card with those scores. Dan? Over to you mate. Would love to see us all in with a chance of playing on the web next year. ⛳️

Fuming with my final round couple of glitches while twitching my round meant a couple of 92% swings which obviously went in the drink. Seems I've hit the average score of -35 (-10,-11,-10,-4) ah well we'll see how it goes haha

The moment of truth has arrived, for some, the glory of the big leagues, for others, crushing disappointment and heartbreak. I have been in this position before. It is not the first time I have tried to turn pro at a sport. First when I tried formula one but was fired when I asked the team manager for the car keys. I nearly rode in the tour the France but as laughed out of the team when I injected the steroids I was given into the bikes tires instead of myself. I also never knew that when trying to be a chess grandmaster, shouting giddy up horsey every time I moved my knight was heavily frowned upon. That's all in the past though, my future is pro golf, the money, the women, the fast cars, the funny little furry covers to put over my golf clubs, it all awaits me. Dan Sheehan, web.com player, could it be possible, should I even dare to dream. As I stand here on the first tee, a long line of pissed of golfers behind me as I stop to write this, could I really become a pro player. With sweaty hands, I take my driver from my bag, I look down the fairway, visualising my shot, focus total and I let it rip.
Straight down the fairway, this visualisation thing works, who would have known. My approach was spot on giving me a simple putt for birdie. Picking up a shot on the first put my mind at ease, always good to pick up that first shot. A poor approach on the second left little chance of birdie. Another simple putt on the third left me two under after three, a positive start. I spent to long deciding what club to use on the first par three, my indecision cost me as I did not find the green, I came close with my chip but close is not birdie. I went three under on the fifth before I made my first major mistake on the seventh. My tee shot was fine, right on line with the hole, had I hit it harder, a ace would have been possible, still a straightforward six foot putt for birdie was left. I under hit it, was way to cautious. It's the kind of shot that could cost a tour card. I finished the front nine with birdie-par. I made a real balls of the ninth, not getting birdie there was a kick in the teeth. Four under but two shots left behind, the front nine will continue with a message from our sponsor.

The back nine started with a birdie before my putting let me down again on the eleventh, again I was to cautious with my putt. A lip out on twelve left another shot behind. I was running out of time, these missed chances could come back to haunt me. My approach on thirteen was a groan aloud moment, the ball passes the edge of the cup so slowly, a tap in birdie was welcome but what could have been had it dropped. I flirted with danger on fourteen, played to close to the water for comfort but survived, for the first time in the round, put together back to back birdies, alas it was not to be three in a row. The last par three was as disappointing as the other par threes, missed my putt by inches, no birdies on the par threes this round. I finished the round with two birdies, the last being a chip in, for a nine under par sixty three.
Not a bad round by any means, bogey free which is a positive. I started the round with a minimum score of eight under in mind so that was reached. I did leave some shots behind me and that could hurt, I am disappointed with that but not with my round. There is a long way to go yet and room for improvement. I think it's going to by very tight in the middle of that pack for the last of the web cards. It's going to be exciting, I hope everyone has fun out there, I intend to, card or no card. I can live with the virtual poverty of virtual points instead of virtual cash, not going to stop me trying though. Good luck all and now a word from our sponsors.

Great read as always and best of luck Dan. I'm also aiming for -8 as a minimum, I think you'll need around -32 to be in the top 100. So far practice rounds were something like -9, -10 +3(Drunk by now) and -6(Hung over)
