So I will post it. I went a very consistent 63, 63, 62, 64 for a -36 total. Hopefully this is enough for a Web card. There's going to be at least 100 web cards. My guess is -36 will be enough for top 50. Think you'll be fine! Ever since the recent wind fix, it seems that we no longer have the pleasure of the higher winds. Now that they're gone, I kind of miss them! The number of double digit wind holes in the fourth round was probably less than a handful. I think winner of this one will have to shoot sub 60's on every round. I wonder why you might say that, haha. I played terribly. Shots went to places I tried to actively avoid (whether by ball squirts or subtle slopes that I can't see), leaving sidehill putts that would consistently go around or through/over the edge of the cup. Missed several putts within 5-10', even the straight ones (which of course still had moving beads on the lines all the way through). Must have bumped off the edge of the cup 10 or 15 times throughout the entire tour, but it happens. Even worse, mrkuo destroyed my score and it wasn't even close. 63 (-9) 61 (-11) 65 (-7) 63 (-9) 252 (-36) Should still make the Web comfortably, but that was one of the most frustrating groups of 4 rounds I've played. I expected to struggle this week though. I just can't score on this course (yet I can score on the original one with 15 mph winds). I also miss the high winds. The most frustrating thing about shooting a great practice round right before you start is shooting a round that's 5 or 6 strokes worse on the actual course. Been there, done that! What wud a CC A player hav to do here to get a web card? If it's top 100 gets a web card, my guess is around -30. If it's top 150, maybe -25. Was it doak course d or a b c d?? Thanks All 4 I believe. Even though TGCT lists it as just Course D. What wud a CC A player hav to do here to get a web card? We are all lumped in together this week, think it is top 100(maybe more not sure of exact number) from all flights in CC circuit.

1'st round, 1'st hole, I knew I was done. I have a natural slice I can't get rid of so I just work around it. So what do I do on the 1'st hole tee off, throw it in the water. Drawing semi circles on the cone. Double bogey. Fought back that round to end -4. Round 2, did good, round 3 did ok
Then the slice comes back in full force.
I'm completely totally infuriated with my round 4. Thats all I will say about that.

If I have to listen to mrkuo's ghost chip in one more time, I'm going to snap my non existent disk in half.
I mean good job. But seriously. 1.5 rounds in, you've chipped in 6 or 7 times. Your -53 will win. No question.

I played awful in this tournament. Probably lost my chance at a Web card. Not sure why, but as a CC-A player I just assumed I'd be playing the A course so I practiced only on that one. But this tournament was A,B,C,D courses. I can't decide if I like the new wind or not. I agree with that the high 20+ winds were not realistic. But now I have a 3mph wind and I'm missing 10 yards left or right for some reason. Maybe I'll get used to it more. 62, 64, 68, 65 for me, -29. I think will keep me in CC-A again.

I'm going to give credit to Brighttail for the thread in which he said that the biggest jump in his game was when he learned how to hole out 90% of his six yard and under shots. I'm at the point where I prefer a six yard chip to a ten feet putt.

I'm totally with you Yaters! For whatever reason, I feel like in a 8-10mph wind I have more control than when its 2-3mph. Got really frustrated on the first or second par 3, zero wind, one of the ghost balls gets a hole in one and the others are inches away, and despite a straight swing, I end up 20 feet left of the pin... I get the whole ball squirt thing, but took me 4 holes to recover from the rage!

Yes, I am glad I am not the only one. I think the lower winds really show the effect of uneven lies and slight mishits. For whatever reason, I think whether you used the shot shaper or just moved your aiming marker, the higher winds really offset these minor factors before. At least that is what I am telling myself. Maybe it is an XB1 thing.

You get DQ'd if you register for an event and don't play. 2 straight DQs and you're suspended for a week. Fair rules. Did you register for the last 2 events? If so why when you were on holiday? If not, something has probably gone wrong and I'm sure if you message the admin they'd try and sort it out for you.

No I missed 2 events, didnt register as i knew i was unable to play them. I wasnt in the country to register for the finale landing this afternoon and missed the 48 hour deadline. I didnt read the rules. As far as I am aware I haven't done anything to receive a DQ having played the majority of tournaments this season. Have sent emails to commish and support to see if they can explain the DQ and allow me to play. Heres hoping

Same here... after firing the lights out last week, I really struggled to score this tourney, ended with a -34. Really weird as I don't think I had a single miss-hit all tourney, but the putts weren't dropping and just couldn't get approaches close for whatever reason.

Just finished my four rounds... Had something strange happen on round one (I emailed the commish but don't know exactly what to do here) I finished up -6 in round one: I wrote down the score, tapped A to go to next round, well it just sat there forever, (Waited about 15 minutes) and nothing happened... I had to go into task manager to shut the game down... When I went back to the Tour page, and hit continue it put me on the 13th hole in round one? ? I finished this time -8 but don't know which score I will need to post??? Anyway I finished with the following 1st round: 66 (-6) Until the crash (64 -8) AFTER 2nd round: 61 (-11) 3rd round: 64 (-8) 4th round: 62 (-10) Final score -35 or -37 depending upon what the commish tells me to do??? Good shooting by Jared and Mr Kuo (good lord he destroyed this course) Good luck gang... Missed numerous putts just past the hole.....

Terry (grayson103...?), something like this happened to Jared three or four weeks ago. He had a spectacular first round and then some sort of crash happened. Then he had to restart the whole thing over again and did about five strokes worse.
Doyley looked into it and said that he would take whatever info the API pulls. It ended up being the better score and he won that week's tournament. Hopefully it works out in your favor too!
