I just posted a -34 for the 4 rounds. That should be close to the cut line. I hope I get a card. I started in week 30 on the C tour and never thought I'd have a chance at a Web card so quickly. Thanks TGCT for all the fun you've provided!

With all the people getting web.com cards i think i can go up a couple of flights.... Because my game in doak valley simply sucked, and there is no other good option for me to be promoted LOL.

Pablo - have you played Tidewater Plantation? The reason I ask is that it's my favourite course in the whole game and I respect your opinion as an unofficial reviewer of other courses in this game. I cannot review courses properly, I don't notice all the little things and I have never used GNCD. A course either feels real to me or it doesn't.
I would be very interested to hear your comments on this course. To me it feels like I'm actually there playing and I particularly like the rainy day version. I think this designer deserves more recognition. Hope you agree to try it out. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Well look who obliterated their -8 target for round 2! Well here is my round 2 review, how am I going to build up the tension now? I always feel that when I've had a good round that a bad round is waiting for me round the corner, Round 1 wasn't good it was exceptional(For my level) and could I be about to experience a big fall? You'll know already from canthitstraight that luckily for me that wasn't the case. I was certainly nervous when I teed off on the first. (Okay, it was my second shot, we all know we have to take 1 shot to make sure it saves properly) It started slowly, -2 after 7 was below target. I could see I wasn't going to have another great round but I had to keep my head, not make mistakes and keep it steady. I managed to birdie 8 for the 2nd time. Now normally par 5's are my nemesis. (Followed closely behind by par 3's and par 4's. I am very very good at par 6's) I'd love to see the stats but I tend to miss fairways much more on par 5's. So for this tournament has been the opposite. A fantastic eagle on the par 5 13 set my first round alight and this time the same happened on the 9th. It was a shorter putt this time but I still had a great feeling when I sunk it. 4 birdies followed including a chip in on 12. Now here is the strange thing. I can not remember hole 15. It looks like I holed out from 183.4 yards. How can I not remember this? It's all just a blur. I was caught up in the moment. All of a sudden I had 2 exceptional rounds in a row on my hands. I only managed 1 birdie in the final 3 holes, maybe I was still in shock from the hole out? ? One worse than my 1st round but I left more out there. This could have even been lower. Sitting top of CC-B and 3rd overall is some achievement for me. -25 with 2 to play. My target has been re-set to two rounds of -5. How will I do? Not long to find out.

I know many of you have tuned in to hear about Daniel Sheehans attempt to birdie every hole to take a web card but there is dramatic breaking news from Doak Valley. It has been reported that Daniel Sheehan has barricaded himself in the bathroom and is refusing to play his last round. A witness to the incident has said that Dan screamed " if Kenny( I keep me spare balls up me kilt) Woolley can get a web card why can't I". He then stole a set of golf clubs and ran into the bathroom. Kenny was asked to comment on this but no one could understand a word he said. It now seems that the clubs belong to Dean(another exemption) Huddleston in a attempt to stop him playing his last two rounds because Dan thinks he will be lonely in the Challenge Circuit. The plan was to wait it out, leave him there until he got hungry but the incident took a twist when the groundstaff at Doak Valley reported that leakage from players waiting to use the bathroom might cause damage to the course and the whole event would have to be cancelled. A swat team was about to be called when another Irish golfer suggested calling something far more fearsome, a Irish mammy. Dans mother armed with her trusty wooden spoon is now on the way and play should resume shortly. Event organisers have graciously agreed to allow Diva Dan to play his last round tomorrow if he stops being such a damn baby, they have also organised spare pants for all those that were caught short with the promise of more than one bathroom at each event in season two so there will not be a repeat of this incident.

Hey Dan, if I do make it then I will be sure to pop in to the clubhouse to see you and check on your progress even if it just be for a laugh. (That is if you were to fail in your audacious attempt at promotion) Now please give me my clubs back, I'm on a roll and it doesn't happen very often.
(By the way, I feel honoured to be mentioned in your ramblings)

Dan? Rambling??? ;-) Big mistake Dan, the tension is sure to build when you have a look at that master leaderboard tomorrow before teeing off!! Nice shooting Dean mate. It's going to be close for me and Chris at -35 and -34, hoping the scores on last day ain't as hot as the first few rounds have been for many!! ⛳️

Cheers Kenny. I've been changing my predictions all week and I think it'll be -32 or -33 so hopefully you will be okay. Here's the story for round 3. It's more about the aftermath than the actual round, mainly because the API hasn't updated my stats and my memory is awful. There wasn't much to talk about really.. My previous target of -8 rounds had been adjusted to -5. 2 -5 rounds would give me -35 which is surely enough. I had that mind set from the beginning and I wasn't too concerned that I had another slow start. I was starting to get a bit more desperate as the round went on but I managed a 3rd round without a bogey and picked up 6 birdies on the way. I didn't play well, I wasn't aggressive. I played safe. I got what I needed. So here is the real story - I finished the round and thought WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PLAYING AT? ? I was 2 shots clear at the top of the leaderboard. When did I ever have a better chance of winning a trophy? If I do get the promotion I will have even less of a chance. I've been deflated ever since. If it'd went for a 62 then I could have done it. I would have been in a position to win my first trophy. What an idiot. On the positive side the -6 puts me in a strong position to qualify which was after all my aim at the start. -31 after 3 round, -4 would guarantee my place. But still, what could have been......................................................

Safe was the way to go, might seem deflated now but imagine how would feel if went for it and blew it. One bathroom lock in enough for one day. There wil be many chances of a win over time, he'll even I had one but not as many chances to earn a new card. You have been close many times, about time promotion came your way, take it and enjoy it, it's well deserved.

Thursday, 1 o'clock. It's lunchtime at work.
As I sit myself down on my usual seat in the canteen, peel away the cling film from my sandwich, I log into tgctours forums on my phone to read about the ups and downs of the 4th and final round of Dan Sheehan's season..
I'm not going to say my day has been ruined by the bathroom lock in but... Well, lets just say the Facebook status' of my friends aren't the read I was anticipating.

I'm not bothered about winning, it would be nice to capture a win sometime don't get me wrong but I'd happily take a web.com card this week even if it was done so as the 99th card given out (see I'm leaving that 100th card for Chris)!! I don't really ever change the way i play, maybe I would if I was ten shots clear with one to play but the likelihood of that are similar to me winning the lottery this weekend!! Enjoy your last round Dean, play your way, nothing silly and no unnecessary risks and you'll easily make the web tour!!

I know what you both mean but to get a victory would be sweet. I have to say that is it one of my aims, although it's never really in my head when I start playing. I'm not sure how much more differently I played but I know I didn't take so many risks on par 5s and I wasn't bothered enough when I missed a makeable putt. My goals were set too low. If I had been thinking about the win then maybe it would have been different. Who knows?? I think I'll enjoy my round once(Hopefully) I get a couple under. If I start bogey then the mind games will really start.
Onwards and upwards.

Got pissed/focused and managed to scrap out a -7 for a total of -36. Yelled at the TV a few time. LOL. The pressure in this fake golf games is hilarious at times. Have to slap myself out of it
