Borderline unplayable from the tee on the third round seemed like I had a side wind every time cept on a part three and 18th.... got an exemption up to A this week.. wont last long....
-14 after two.... +6 third round.... Its like the wind had double effect??? When you are hitting a 2 wood (245) into a 196 yard par three something is wrong..LOL.. did in fact hit it to 8 feet though
Oh well, A was fun whilst it lasted... back to B after this last round... Even with those bad winds, I loved this course..... Perhaps one day Ill be able to play in 20mph winds... ha ha ha
good luck gang..

I wasn't happy at all with my play during this tournament. So when I saw an e-mail with the subject line of "Congrats! -- Sponsor's Exemption" to play on the Web Tour, I was ecstatic that I didn't have to post my scores and was given a 2nd chance on a new course and tourney.....only to realize the Web Tour is in the middle of their playoffs, and exemptions are useless and basically meaningless for the rest of this season. R1 = 62 (-8) I had so many lip-outs, coulda/shoulda/woulda been -11 or better...especially with the easy winds (but it wasn't!). -8 is a good score, but I knew I lost shots to the leaders right from the start. R2 = 66 (-4) All of a sudden, I could not hit a drive straight to save my life...must've been the rain! I started slicing or hooking everything, and it really cost me. Another round where the leaders will be shooting negative double-digits, and I spent the round scrambling for pars, because I couldn't hit a straight drive. R3 = 70 (E) Good score with the hard winds. But I was -2 with about four or five holes to go, only to give up a few shots on bad putts (nothing to do with the wind). R4 = 66 (-4) Decent score in the moderate winds, but once again, it's a score that loses ground to others in the tourney. Total = -16
Very underwhelming score - disappointment in each round. And after that lukewarm play, it was almost cruel to get a "Sponsor's Exemption" notice to the Web Tour, only to realize it's not worth to the pixels it's displaying on. I'll spend a good part of this week at the driving range! Good shots, good skills, good bounces, and good luck to everyone!

After a tough week last week, started fine and then finished poorly. 62-62 to start had me feeling ok at least, then was up to -4 in rd 3 before finishing at E. Only managed -2 in round 4, which was a struggle with the putter (damn you, sidehill 4 footers). -18 overall. A step in the right direction at least after Isla Resaca punched me in the gut.

I don't know what it was about these greens this week, but seemed like a real struggle. Felt like I left at least 10 strokes out there on missing 5-10 footers

14 of you at -10 or better and Franz Joop with the -13 on exemption. This may be a quick trip back for most exemption players!

Both practice tours have double digit winds on just about all rounds. The second tour has 18 mph winds on the fourth round. Practice offsetting the high crosswinds with a combination of draw/fade (up to one box) and shifting your cursor left or right for the remaining wind.

Searched under tours as you said but nothing came up. Are the instructions correct? Urgently need a windy course to practice on.

so can the api auto get our scores if we dont submit them? I shot pretty much the same all four rounds but cannot remember what each round was now. Or can I just click on each round and see where I finished?

I don't know if it'll show your rounds using the API unless you submit. Just play a normal round and select the appropriate course. Before you start the round you'll see a list of recent scores you've posted on the screen where you select Ghosts.
-8 in my practice round on Thursday in light winds. I thought that was good going until I saw some of the scores posted on here. really need to try to concentrate and get my promotion at the third attempt but it's going to be hard.

If you're on XB1 or PS4, you can try creating a mock tour of your own and cross your fingers that it creates the winds that you are looking for.

No probs. I should have realised you were probably on another platform. Anyway I ended up carding a 72 (+2) for that windy third round at Timberwolf so I was pretty happy with that. (CC-E) playing on CC-D under exemption.

I was directing you towards a practice tour under Steam for next week's round, not Timerwolf. Sorry for the confusion all the around!
