After Isla Resaca's bright colors, get ready for something a little more dreary. Lots of wide open spaces as well as elevation changes. Greens will certainly be tougher than week 36.

If I remember correctly, a headwind on some of the par 4s are going to make it impossible to reach in regulation. Otherwise, it's just a course where you have to plan your misses, especially with the firmer greens, false fronts, and two tiers. I enjoyed the course and I think there are plenty of scoring opportunities. If the wind is blowing to make some of the holes longer, there are lots of bogey+ opportunities as well. We'll see.

Timberwolf is a tough trek. I like the flow of the course though. I'll suck once again...but it plays more like a traditional coastal course in my opinion when compared to Isla.

I kind of like this course. Been shooting good on it. Even on windy rounds. Sunday's setup I hold the PC best score of -9, just shot a -6 on the Friday one (rain one). Consistently been shooting -6 to -8 on all setups. I'll choke come tournament time.

I've played the Sunday setup twice and carded a 69 both times. Left numerous strokes out there and could have easily been a pair of 65's. That should translate to 80,80 come the tournament.

Doyley said the tournament is Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday... not just Sunday. So you may want to try the other ones out as well.

This course doesn't play much different on any setup..still tight landing areas...long par 4's and tricky 3's. The pins don't really make that much of a difference. I really like this course overall. Just carded a 68 on the Thursday setup in 10-15mph winds. That 12,13,14,15 stretch is gonna make or break a lot of people.

For me it's the 2'nd hole, I have a natural slice that I cant seem to get rid of. If I go driver then all those bunkers on the right just suck me in. Chipped in for eagle once there (from rough) though. 4'th (I think if my memory works) hole is another, those bloody bunkers on the right. The back nine is good for me, its where I seem to make up some ground. re setups: I like when they do the Tour A, B setups with 2 rounds on each, easier to practice on two versions as opposed to 4. Really hoping for a good showing next week for me, this course may be good for me. Otherwise I'll be hanging with you guys in CC-E. I'm on a steady slide downhill as of late. Initial observations over a few play through of the Sunday setup: good flow to the course, excellent ambience with the rain and gloom, tough greens. It feels like each green (with the Sunday pin setup anyway) has a sweet spot to land in or you are looking at some tough breaking putts on slopes.

Maybe he was unsure if your name was Tom (even though your tour name says Tom). So is like Nintendo but Tomtendo. Or is it like Rex-kwando.
I really like this course. Could be very similar scoring as the past few weeks, somewhere in the high -20's to low -30's.

This is going to be one for the putters- if your putting game is not dialed in (mine is not) it will be tough sledding out there, especially with the wind and rain.

This course is playing quite differently from Thu-Sun IMO. Funky low looking trajectory on some driver shots. I know it's an illusion but it messes with my head a little to see them come out so low due to the graded elevation changes on the first few holes. I usually play straight threw my 4 rds but thinking I might have to practice each rd in-between. Certainly some birdies out there and some sneaky close OB posts. How is everyone else doing?
