Since some of you seem to be struggling I just played in 14mph winds and threw up a -7 with some stupid missed putts. Feel free to play my ghost and see if it helps out at all.
As for the course...just be careful talking to the "designer" about any course picked. This was designed with fantasy in mind on the back 9 so... just tell the folks picking the course that you don't like it as a tourney course...but the whole "not tournament quality" and talking about how a hole is lol or something? Yeah...you're kind of not getting that every course used on TGCTours is designed to be super realistic at all times. I've got thick skin and don't really give two hoots if you like it or not but some guys will take thing personally and if you just make off the cuff comments because all you can remember about your round are the 3 or 4 HARD holes and totally forget the rest...well you're going to chase some guys away that you shouldn't.
Again, you can rip my stuff all you want. Feel free! Just try to look at the GOOD things that you liked instead of being ticked about the holes you don't play well. *shrug* Instead send a message to the folks picking courses.
So, get out there and use my ball if you want. Maybe it will help out. If you want any "From the designer" insight just holler. I'll give you one for free, Hole 14? Three wood to the left fairway is the way to go on this one. If you hit it straight go with 5 wood...but it just makes the hole longer. TADA! Oh also on 18 unless the wind is in your face you can carry the left bunker usually.

My main knock against the course..well 2.
The sight lines are too cluttered...no reference points. The course has no flow...it's like playing 18 different courses in one.
The course is beautiful and that likely got it picked for tournament play, that and designer reputation in my opinion.
No slight intended...just my opinion of the course as we discussed reebdoog.

Dude, I didn't take anything as a slight. I'm talking about the folks that DO take it as a slight and comments that are made without any context or that are pure hyperbole based on a bad experience You'll chase guys off with that kind of thing. I really didn't make this course with tournaments in mind at all... the fact it was picked is fine...maybe I shouldn't have submitted it at all. I kind of did so just a knee jerk reaction. *Shrug* :-) I simply think if you're going to criticize someone's work you should at least put SOME thought into what you're saying instead of just making blanket statements that really only reflect your own frustration. Not you...just "you" in general. If someone wants to tell me something I've made is trash...I'm self confident enough to handle that and say "no worries bro." I design courses and really only care how ONE person enjoys them. ME! yay! heh.

Having had a brief look at the course designer...I take my hat off to all those who spend time on them and who look to design something unique. Some course designs are absolutely stunning, some may be first attempts at course design...either way I respect all course designers and wannabe course designers for their efforts...it ain't easy!! ⛳️

This is the worst course to date. So cheesy, with way too many unrealistic extremes. Very poor choice for an event.

The par 3's played really though in those winds. Managed -18 with a pathetic putting experience rd one. Outside chance of staying in CC-C on my exemption from D this week. Thanks for the creation

I also think it's close to inevitable that many folks will hate almost any course when they get beat up on & have frustrating rounds. 10+ mph winds for 4 days will almost guarantee bad feedback. I have finally tried to move on and just play what's in-front of me. I still get mad & hole 18 is a perfect example...bogey/bogey/bogey/birdie(hate it) LOL.

I really enjoyed this course. Went -5 and -1 in the 1st 2 rounds, should have been better but messed up a few puts. Everyone seems quick to blame the course for a bad round instead of looking at their own game.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to play the other 2 rounds tonight.

Any other comments I left are simply a matter of taste.

Designing is a painstakingly long process that few (myself not included) have the patience for. I think we should all think twice before we label a course as "trash" or "worst course to date". If you think it's a poor course, nothing is stopping you from getting involved in course building and course selection process.

I like the fact par is a good score on some of the holes. Really have to think about every shot. Much better then a course where the scores are averaging -10 or better. Great job on the design in my opinion.

Just shot a 67 in practice, 6-12 mph winds. Not bad.
