Gotta be honest. I am getting tired of seeing the same names on top of the leaderboard every week. I think there should be some forced promotion to the PGA Tour after a time. Give somebody else a chance. My .02 Well, a good chunk will be getting their PGA cards at season's end a couple weeks from now.

Give somebody else a chance. My .02 We are a week away from the end. Most of the names at the top will either be top 10 in money (move up), or will earn a new card via Web Finals. No worries on getting rid of them.

I haven't been playing much and haven't been able to keep up with what is going on. But it looks like I am the ultimate bubble boy right now sitting at #10 on oswinner's list. I played all four rounds last night and finished -32. I am hoping for a top ten but top 20 is probably more realistic. Should be interesting to see how things shake out! I think the web.com finals are going to be very tough. There are a lot of high quality players that have recently joined TGC tours and will be in the finals due to having played very few events.

Hi guys and gals,
I'm up swimming with you bigger fish on an exemption this week. Could not take advantage of the mild winds in the first round and shot a mediocre 66. Felt much better about a second-round 67 in that stiff wind. Hoping that -11 will let me survive the cut!
Good luck to all and I hope I can stay up here and compete. Take care.

Finished -27 (60-69-70-62), struggled after a solid first round. Made three eagles in round 4, which was pretty cool. The wind direction a lot more so than the speed (though I got the upper end of the 9-12 range in rounds 3 & 4) in rounds 2 and 3 made the course a lot harder to me in those rounds compared to 1 & 4. Also, the green on the first hole was quite ridiculous.
10 & 14 were probably the prime examples of that.
In rounds 1 and 4 for me, 10 played with a crosswind from right to left, so you could easily take it over the bunkers and have a 5 wood-3 iron-ish into the green. In rounds 2 and 3, you couldn't carry the bunkers and ended up (if you wanted to stay in the fairway) with probably a 7-iron at the shortest for your third shot.
14, in rounds 1 and 4, was drivable, as it was dead downwind. In round 4, I hit my drive to about 10 feet and converted the putt for an eagle. In rounds 2 and 3, the hole was not drivable (as the wind was across and slightly into you) and left you with an awkward pitch from the left side into the green. I missed short birdie putts in both rounds though, so that was on me more than the wind. But the wind at least made eagle a realistic possibility in rounds 1 and 4.

Man I gotta get my rounds in soon. I've been so busy with real life stuff, I hadn't had time to play yet. By the time I wind down in the evenings, I've been too tired to play. This might be my off week where I play really bad haha.

My prediction was correct, this looks like my off week lol. I'm sitting at -13 after 2 rounds. After the first 3 holes of the 2nd round, I thought I might be able to go low in the high winds (was -4 after 3); however, I was wrong. My score stayed at -4 even after 18 holes haha.

Hanging on by a thread at the minute to make the cut. Fingers crossed. I'm really ruing a terrible putting performance from round 1. Round 2 wasn't much better with the short stick to be fair but at least i scored well in relation to the field.
I agree with the thoughts from dukemann when he said the wind direction plays a massive part although bizarrely on hole 14 I parred it when it was driveable in round 1 and then birdied it in round 2 and eagled it in round 3 when it wasn't. Very bizarre.

What a maddeningly frustrating couple of rounds with the Putter this week. I couldn't sink a putt from any distance, leaving everything between 2ft or 0ft tap-ins hole after hole. If I had less than 30 putts per round this event, I would be shocked. After closing out in style in round 2: double, bogey, bogey, I suspect my weekend plans will open up
