These first round winds last couple of tournaments are just vicious.... Headwind of 20mph makes for a long round
I had 15 pars' two bogies and a triple bogie... 76 first round
Followed that up with a 61 -10 in the second round... two more to go... first round in a long time no bogies or others....

Just finished round 1 with a 72. That was hard work. Missed too many greens, I've never seen pitch shots move so much due to wind and every putt was just a little bit longer than my comfort zone. My average score in practice this week was a 66. Three bogies and 2 birdies (got lucky and rolled in a 35 footer on 18). What a grind. And because my putts were from a little longer than normal, I left 3 of them within a foot and burned the edge with 2 others. Could have been better but, all things considered, I'll take it. Good luck!

first round was going pretty good considering those winds until i doubled both 15 and 16 finished 3 over. Then shot an 8 on first hole in round 2 so after that my aim was to just get inside top 70. Happy with my final 2 rounds, they got me to 8 under over all so ill take that in my first tournament in flight c after getting promotion. See ya'll next week at the wood

This is also my first tourney after my promotion. First round of 75 probably takes me out of Top 25 contention. What brutal conditions makes for a not fun round of golf. Although to be fair, it probably got in my head as much as it actually affected my shots. Started randomly slicing midway through the round.

Frustrating tournament for me putting wise. 75,65,67,66 (-12) for the tournament. I must have started 15 putts a tick too far below the hole and really couldn't buy a putt outside of 3 feet. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes. Going to go with #17 being the toughest hole. Nothing like 3i-3w into that green.
Edit: Now that I think about it, #13 might play tougher. Not hitting the fairway on that hole will put you in a very decent chance to go into the water if you go for the green.

Round 1's wind was stupid. It was 20mph for me and it felt like 40. It would completely shift my low 3-5 foot pitch shots left/right... totally unrealistic. I couldn't get close. I didn't double bogey, but I finish with 7 bogeys which gave me a 78. I played the 2nd round right after and shot a 67 with 10mph. Should of been -5, but I lipped out a par save... classic.
The frustrating part is that I did (i think, scorecard not updated yet) manage to have a good FIR, but I couldn't capitalize.

You may not be a bug, but you're pretty funny.
**I had to edit this because I am still laughing a few minutes later after I read it again. Too funny.
